NECROMANCY
1. EXT. COLLEGE – DAY
The film starts with Kiara entering the college, she pauses for
a second to take it all in. Her face should show how a middle
class girl would react to an elite college.
VO OF KIARA’S PARENTS:
Beta humare paas itne paise nahi hai tujhe itne bade college
mein bhejne ke liye to which she replies mummy aap tension mat
lo, mujhe scholarship mil rahi hai.
A car comes speeding her way and she shifts to the side while
telling them in an angry voice-
KIARA
Dekh ke chalo...
2. INT. CAR – DAY
There are five people inside the car. Ayaan and Rishabh are
sitting in front and Riya, Mahek and Abhinav are in the back
seat. Rishabh is going live on Instagram while the others
sitting behind are gossiping about a teacher having an affair
with one of the students.
RISHABH
Aaj mere ghar pe party hogi aur sab invited hai and no one
gets out sober (in a cringy but hyper manner)
RIYA
Tujhe pata hai who school wale Nakul sir Simran ko woh wali
extra classes de rahe hai
MAHEK
Kya! Tujhe kisne bola?
RIYA
Babes mujhe sab pata hota hai.
ABHINAV
Chalo kisi ko toh guidance mil raha hai.(in a sarcastic way)
3. INT. CLASSROOM - DAY
Kiara enters the classroom and takes her seat while glancing
at the group. The group sitting in the corner are taking about
the party and selecting who to invite and who they don’t want.
AYAAN
Chalo yaar ye toh decided hai ki aaj daaru pi rahe hai..
RIYA
Woh toh theek hai par aa kon kon raha hai who toh decide kar
lo pehle..Oye Rishabh, bata na..
RISHABH
Mujhe toh fark nahi padta. Mujhe sirf daaru se matlab. Baaki
tumlog dekhlo..
Kiara enters the classroom and takes her seat while glancing
at the group. Everyone in the group share a look seeing Kiara.
Riya approaches Kiara.
RIYA
Hi, your jacket looks really nice where did you get it from?
(in a bitchy voice)
KIARA
Thank you, I don’t really remember..It’s from my hometown,
Rajasthan..
MAHEK
Oh so you are from Rajasthan..That sounds exotic.
RIYA
Tension mat lo hum nahi puchenge ki wahan paani hai kya
(laughingly)
KIARA
Main thak gayi hu ye sunke (launghingly)
RIYA
Toh tum Mumbai main nayi ho, why don’t you hangout with us..
MAHEK
Yeah we can show you around.
KIARA
Ha par mujhe abhi padhai pe focus karna hai, I really want to
become a big journalist.
RIYA
Girl if you want to become successful in this industry you
need connections..Aur connections books padh ke nahi bante.
KIARA
True
MAHEK
Chalo fir done scene hai..Oh by the way, this is Rishabh,
Abhinav and Ayaan..
Mahek introduces everyone to Kiara.
A teacher enters the classroom and everyone takes their seat.
In between of this, Ayaan asks Kiara-
AYAAN
Excuse me, yahan koi baitha hai kya? (while maintaining eye
contact with her)
Kiara takes a second to reply, a bit hesitant to say anything,
then tells him-
KIARA
Nahi
Ayaan takes a seat beside Kiara.
4. INT/EXT. CANTEEN – DAY
MONTAGE –
Everyone is sitting in the canteen and talking. Ayaan
takes a seat beside Kiara. Ayaan romantically stares at
Kiara the whole time.
5. EXT. SMOKE HUT – DAY
MONTAGE –
Everyone smoking cigarette at smoke hut. They are making
Kiara try a cigarette.
6. EXT. KIARA’S BUILDING GATE – EVENING
MONTAGE –
Ayaan is dropping Kiara home on his bike. They both say
bye to each other and leave their way.
7. INT/EXT. CLASSROOM – DAY
MONTAGE –
They are bunking class together.
8. EXT. KIARA’S BUILDING GATE – EVENING
MONTAGE –
Ayaan is dropping Kiara home on his bike. They both hug
each other and say bye.
9. INT. RIYA’S HOUSE – NIGHT
Everyone is chilling at Riya’s place. They all are
drinking and smoking.
RIYA
Yaar mein thak gayi hu is college ke routine se..
ABHINAV
Haa yaar mera bhi ab dimaag kharab ho gaya hai lectures
attend kar kar ke..
Kiara glances at the gothic posters on the wall. She
feels something off about it.
MAHEK
Guys guys chalo phir hum weekend pe kahin jaane ka plan
karte hai..
RISHABH
Pata hai ek bohot exclusive party hai is Saturday ko. We
should go, it will be fun, wahan bade bade log honge and
most importantly expensive daru..
Kiara is lost in her thoughts seeing the posters. Riya
breaks her from her thoughts.
RIYA
Kiara..
KIARA
I don’t know yaar. Sounds a bit shady to me.
MAHEK
Arey chill, life mein maze bhi karne chahiye..
KIARA
Haa but..
ABHINAV
But wut kuch nahi, hum jaa rahe hai party mein.
KIARA
Chalo theek hai, networking ho jayegi. Accha ok guys, me
nikalti hu..Bohot late hogaya hai..
AYAAN
Main chod deta hu..
10. EXT. KIARA’S BUILDING GATE – EVENING
Ayaan is dropping Kiara home on his bike. He pulls Kiara
close by grabbing her hand and leans in to kiss her while
she is walking away. Kiara steps back stopping him. They
both get a little awkward.
AYAAN
Umm sorry..I thought we had a connection.
KIARA
No Ayaan, I only see you as a friend.
AYAAN
Ohh..ok..ok. I’m sorry. But Kiara, I also wanted to say ki
just be a little careful around these people..
KIARA
Around who?
AYAAN
Yeh hi..Rishabh, Abhinav and all..
KIARA
What do you mean Ayaan!? They are my friends. Ab tumhe
achanak kya ho gaya?
AYAAN
I mean..Nothing..I am just saying that don’t get too much
involved with them..Yeh peer pressure ke chakkar mein don’t
do anything that you will regret.
KIARA
Oh my god, what is wrong with you.. I think I should leave
now..Huh..Bye..
Ayaan looks a little disappointed and leaves on his bike.
11. INT/EXT. OUTSIDE CAR – DAY
Everyone is keeping their bags in the car and getting
ready to leave for the weekend. Ayaan is not there.
RIYA
Finally hum is college se nikal ke kahin fun karne ja
rahe hai. Main toh bohot excited hu.
KIARA
Yaar Ayaan nahi aaya kya? (in a concerned manner)
MAHEK
Woh stuff lene gaya hai. Sidhe wahin pe aayega.
RIYA
Woahh this is going to be so much fun! Tu chill kar na aur
khali kyu baithi hai..Le daaru pi..
Riya hands a beer can/bottle to Kiara. Kiara takes a sip and
starts feeling dizzy. The scene ends on a close up of Kiara
drinking.
12. EXT. ABANDONED SITE – NIGHT
Kiara wakes up in a dizzy state not knowing where she is and
how she got there. She is tied to a chair with an IV draining
her blood. She looks around but no one is there. Meanwhile
Rishabh enters and starts reading a satanic book ignoring
everything Kiara is asking.
KIARA
Main..Main kahan hu..Mujhe bandh ke kyu rakha hai..
Rishabh ignoring her, continuous to read the book.
Kiara realising she is tied up and being drained of her blood
starts to question him more-
KIARA
Yeh kya kar rahe ho tum log..Please mujhe jaane do..Maine kya
kiya hai..Help..Help..(she starts screaming on the top of her
lungs)
ABHINAV
Chup! Mujhe padhne de yeh! (in a loud and angry voice)
Riya and Mahek enter the scene.
While screaming and panicking, Kiara manages to loosen the
ropes but stops when Riya and Mahek enter the scene.
RIYA
Uth gayi yeh..
Riya comes closer to Kiara and asks in a mocking way.
RIYA
Zyada pareshani toh nahi ho rahi na..(laughs in a evil way)
MAHEK
Pareshani toh se baad mein hogi na, jab chaaku iske seene me
daalenge.
KIARA
Kya..Kyu..No..Help..Help..Maine kya kiya hai..Kyu kar rahe ho
mere saath aisa..
RIYA
Jaise tumhe connections banane hai na logo ke saath, waise hi
hume bhi connection banana hai satan ke saath.
KIARA
Satan? Par kyu?!
MAHEK
Kyu nahi? Woh hume tumhari soul ke badle main paisa, power aur
fame dega. Par tum daro mat, hume bas tumhara khoon chahiye
fir uske baad hum tumhe bas ek hi baar mein chaaku se maar
denge. Tumhe zyada dard nahi hoga.
ABHINAV
Waqt hogaya hai..Tum dono jaa kar chaaku lekar aao.
The girls exit the scene.
Kiara then finds a chance, frees herself and starts to run but
Abhinav pulls her leg and she falls down. Kiara wraps the IV
around his neck that she was removing. Abhinav struggles to
breathe. Kiara then starts to run away.
While running, she sees Riya and Mahek coming with a knife.
She hides behind a wall and starts looking for something. She
picks up a rod. As they come closer, Kiara hits them with the
rod on their head. Mahek falls down and the knife in her hand
falls. Riya holds Kiara from behind. Kiara hits her with her
elbow and tries to reach the knife. Riya holds Kiara back but
she struggles and reaches the knife. She stabs Riya with the
knife and starts running again.
She stops seeing Rishabh coming from behind a tree. She slowly
steps backwards. Rishabh holds her against a tree and chokes
her from neck. She struggles and finds an old broken lantern
and hits him on his head. Car keys falls from his pocket. She
picks up the keys, looks around to find the car. She sees the
car and runs towards it. She tries to open the door in panic,
sits in the car but Rishabh holds the car door and pulls Kiara
out of the car. Kiara struggles and fights him. While
fighting, she pushes him on the ground, picks up a big stone
and hits him continuously until he is dead.
She then starts running again. A headlight flashes on her
face. It gets brighter as the bike comes closer. She thinks
that someone is again coming to kill her but she is completely
tired and does not have any more energy left to fight. She
gives up and falls on the ground. As the headlight turns off,
she sees Ayaan and feels a little relieved. She thinks that
she is finally safe now. Ayaan comes running towards her. He
looks concerned and starts asking Kiara.
AYAAN
Kiara..Yeh kya hua? Tum theek ho? Yeh sab kaise? Ruko yeh lo
paani piyo..Main police ko call karta hu..
Ayaan gives her a bottle of water to drink. He takes out his
phone and makes a call. We see Abhinav picking up the call.
Then we see Kiara and Ayaan together. Kiara is drinking water
and is unknown to whom he has called.
