ABSTRACT
The increasing demand for efficient and precise agricultural practices has led to the
development of automation in farming. This project presents the design and implementation of
an Automatic Seed Sowing Robot aimed at reducing manual labor, increasing accuracy, and
enhancing productivity in seed sowing operations. The robot is equipped with a microcontroller-
based system that automates the movement, seed dispensing, and soil drilling processes. It
follows a predefined path and maintains consistent spacing and depth during sowing, ensuring
uniform crop growth. The system can be further enhanced with GPS for navigation and sensors
for obstacle detection and soil analysis. This innovation not only minimizes human effort and
time but also supports sustainable farming by optimizing seed usage and reducing wastage. In
modern agriculture, automation plays a critical role in improving efficiency, reducing labor
dependency, and ensuring precision in farming operations. This project proposes the design and
development of an Automatic Seed Sowing Robot, an intelligent system capable of automating
the seed sowing process to achieve uniformity, accuracy, and speed in plantation. The robot is
designed to perform tasks such as soil drilling, seed dropping, and soil covering, all in a single
pass.
