INTRODUCTION
ISO standards are a set of internationally recognized standards designed
to help companies establish a level of homogeneity in relation to the
management of the industry, the provision of services, and product development.
In this activity, a summary was made in which the main points were discussed.
elements of a certification (ISO9001). Finally, a brochure was prepared on the
correct use of the tools, describing each of them, functions

SUMMARY
The ISO standards are a quality management system that is implemented within a
company or organization and is composed of several stages.
Quality management is a business philosophy focused on efficiency in order to
achieving customer satisfaction. Therefore, they are very useful within an organization
because all the procedures, activities, people, and supplies follow the
guidelines and directives aimed at satisfying the customer and thus attracting new ones
consumers.
In the year 1947, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was founded.
Inside of it are incorporated by sixty-seven specialized technical committees,
having its offices in the city of Geneva, Switzerland, this agency represents the
the largest organization in the world involved in the development of standards that
they cover a variety of business sectors and thanks to that the companies
committed to quality have implemented a quality management system
based on ISO standards.
For a proper implementation of ISO standards, regulations were created that
they provide information about ISO standard families and are divided as follows
form:
ISO 9001:2015 criteria for a quality management system.
They apply to certify under a specific organization.
2. Specific sectoral applications of ISO 9001:
Considering individual business sectors, the standard series has in
count the specific requirements of each sector, whether in food,
metals, health, beauty, chemicals, aviation or any other, as the case may be.

The concepts integrated into the requirements of the ISO standard contain aspects
based on the following methods:

To implement a quality management system, it is important to comply with certain
stages which are:
Diagnosis stage
Planning stage
Development, documentation, and implementation stage
Internal audit stage
The implementation of the ISO 9001 standard in an organization provides
guidelines to maintain control and continuously improve the efficiency of your
processes, delivering commitment, shareholders, organizational image, satisfaction of
customer and competitive advantage.
Advantages of having a QMS:
Initial diagnosis of the functioning of the processes.
Impact of organization on the market.
Standardization in the forms of the company.

Within each organization there are two types of processes, the productive or value processes and
those of support, these provide a service to those of value to fulfill the final objective
to provide a service or product to the customer.
The processes that create value contribute to customer satisfaction and are the
productive processes related to the good or service offered.

ISO standards, considering that the fundamental objective of these standards is the
maintain certain quality standards according to the services offered by the organization
to achieve full satisfaction in the customer. On the other hand, the tools of
quality is of great help if what is desired is to analyze the processes of it
organization to keep up with correcting mistakes, etc.
