• When you first visited it
• How often you go there
• What you do there
• Why it is special to you
• Whether you would recommend it to others and why

One place I really enjoy visiting is a small park near my house. I first went there about three years ago when my
friend told me about it. I go there almost every weekend, especially when the weather is good. When I am there,
I usually walk, listen to music, or sit on a bench and relax. I like this park because it is quiet and clean, and it
helps me forget about stress. There are many trees and flowers, so it feels peaceful. I would recommend this
place to others because it is a great spot to relax, take a break, and enjoy nature.

2. Topic: A Person Who Inspires You

Instructions:
Describe a person who inspires you and explain why.

You should mention:

• Who the person is (without naming real people in your class)

• How you met or learned about them
• What kind of person they are
• What they have done that inspires you
• How they have influenced your life
• Whether other people should learn about this person and why

A person who inspires me is my older cousin. I met him when I was very young, and we have always been
close. He is a kind, patient, and hardworking person. Even when he has problems, he stays positive and never
gives up. He inspires me because he always studies and works hard to achieve his goals. He taught me that
success takes time and effort. Because of him, I try to be more responsible and disciplined in my own life. I
think other people could also learn from him because he is a good example of how to stay motivated and never
stop trying.
3. Topic: A Book or Movie You Like

You should mention:

• What it is about
• When you first read/watched it
• What you like most about it
• Your favourite scene or part
• Why it is memorable
• Whether you would recommend it to others and why

One movie I really like is Finding Nemo. I first watched it when I was in school, and I have watched it many
times since then. The movie is about a small fish named Nemo who gets lost, and his father tries to find him.
My favourite part is when Dory and Nemo’s father travel through the ocean and meet many funny characters. I
like this movie because it is interesting, colorful, and also emotional. It teaches us to be brave and to never give
up on the people we love. I would recommend this movie to everyone, especially families with children.

• When you started learning it
• How you learned it (classes, online, self-study)
• How often you use it
• Why the skill is useful in your life
• Whether you think others should learn it and why

A skill I have learned is cooking. I started learning it two years ago because I wanted to make simple meals for
myself. At first, it was difficult, but I watched videos and practiced a lot. Now I cook almost every day. I can
make pasta, soup, salads, and some easy desserts. Cooking is useful because it helps me eat healthier and save
money. It also makes me feel proud when I prepare something tasty. I think other people should learn this skill
because it is important for daily life and it can be fun as well.
5. Topic: An Activity You Enjoy in Your Free Time

• When you started doing it
• How often you do it
• What you need for this activity (equipment, place, etc.)
• How it makes you feel
• Whether you would suggest this activity to someone else and why

An activity I really enjoy in my free time is cycling. I started cycling when I was a child, but I began doing it
more seriously last year. I go cycling two or three times a week, usually in the evening. I only need my bicycle
and a safe road or park. Cycling makes me feel relaxed and energetic at the same time. It is good exercise, and it
helps me clear my mind after a long day. I would recommend this activity to others because it is healthy,
enjoyable, and easy to start. Anyone can try it.
