DO - DOES

In English, there are different uses for the verb 'do'. As a verb
Principal means 'to do' in an abstract way.

However, it also has a very important function which is to be


auxiliary.

The basic function of the auxiliary verb 'Do' is to create tenses.


grammatical rules to differentiate between the present and the past in questions and
negations.

We will use DO for the pronouns I - you - we - they

We will use DOES for the pronouns he – she – it.

DO – DOES
Do/does are used to ask and negate in the present of
practically all verbs, except 'to be' and auxiliary verbs (can,
could, must, will, would, etc.
When you use do/does as an auxiliary verb to ask or negate, not
agregar la “s” en he, she o it. ¿Por qué? Porque ya está conjugado, es

Does he work here?
DO – DOES
When you ask a question using 'do/does' as an auxiliary verb; you

One never replies with the main verb: Yes, I work (for 'Yes, I work').

from the word not. These are abbreviated as don't.
