Resistor Color Coding and Calculations

The document contains a series of problems related to color coding of resistors, resistivity calculations, and temperature coefficients of resistance. It includes tasks such as determining resistance values based on color bands, calculating resistance changes with wire length and cross-sectional area, and finding resistance changes with temperature variations. The problems require knowledge of electrical principles and formulas related to resistors and materials.

resistance of copper at 20℃ is 0.004/℃ determine the resistance of the coil when the
temperature rises to 100℃
3. The resistance of a coil aluminium wire at 18℃ is 200Ω. The temperature of the wire is
increased and the resistance rises to 240Ω. If the temperature coefficient of the resistance
of aluminium is 0.0039/℃ at 18℃ determine the temperature to which the coil has risen.
