II. SUMMARY
The course aims to help the student reinforce the knowledge acquired in ...
Structural Analysis I course, aiming for the student to gradually and systematically learn
to solve more complex problems related to statics and material strength for
that understands both the behavior of structural systems (Masonry, Walls of
limited ductility, framed) as well as the structural elements (beams, columns, slabs,
walls) individually. The aim is to familiarize the student with behavior and the
calculation of the most common structural typologies that may appear in the field of
construction works using specialized software for the completion of the job.
The course is mandatory in nature, theoretical-practical, and belongs to the specific courses of the
Professional School of Civil Engineering.

V. METHODOLOGICAL STRATEGIES
The methodology is developed according to the following axes: Interaction, collaboration, and production.
a) Virtual classes (Videoconference): Virtual classes are conducted using a platform of
synchronous communication at the established times for the student, yes for some reason the
the student could not establish communication the class is recorded in the respective week:
Recorded class and/or backup PPT.
b) Research Tutoring (TI): With the application of this strategy, research is articulated.
but the activities of applying lessons learned weekly allow for attention.
individual and/or group to the students. This facilitates, guides, and provides feedback on the training process
of the student to develop transversal skills and attitudes in this area of interest.
The product of the knowledge acquired in the first unit will serve to understand the
concepts and theories related to structural analysis and matrix theory. The student is directed to
analyze more structural systems of planar and spatial frames using the method of
rigidity with the use of matrices. In the second unit; The student is instructed to analyze
structural systems of plane and spatial frames, grids, and other structural systems
through the rigidity method using matrices. The student is guided to analyze
seismically spatial structures using the static method or static forces
equivalents according to the seismic-resistant standard E.030-2018. Here, just like in the first unit,
The activities are developed with a strategy of autonomous, individual, and group work.
c) Autonomous Study: GIV: Autonomous study and work, individual/Group: This strategy of
estudio autónomo se caracteriza por el uso de un Entorno Virtual Interactivo de la plataforma
educational available in[Link] it is a form of learning that
the student uses to access educational resources and bibliographic material hosted in the
virtual environment: Readings, digital books, audios etc. that are by weekly sessions.
Likewise, in the course of Structural Analysis II, the evaluation of the PRODUCT is constructed
transversally and progressively and consists of the presentation of a "Static analysis of a
proposed building" based on all the knowledge acquired in all the units.
5
The prioritized teaching-learning strategies are: Strategies for elaboration and for
organization of information. Based on autonomous strategies, the student develops their
learning evidence, create a digital portfolio that is presented in the first, second and
third unit.
d) Interaction in virtual environments: forums (IEV-F) This strategy uses the virtual environment to
promote analysis, reflection, and the exchange of opinions based on problematization,
questioning or inquiries about an aspect of interest, fundamental for building the
autonomous learning. A forum is presented in the first unit about Systematization of
Stiffness method. Procedure for 2D and 3D frameworks and prism elements subjected to
the torsion. In the second unit a forum about the General Method for Seismic Analysis of
3D buildings.

6.4.1 Criteria
• For team projects, research updates, presentations, the selection of
relevant information according to the requested topic, correctly citing the sources of
reference (Information Management)
• Develop and explain the practices in a correct and timely manner (Performance in learning)
• Value and respect cultural diversity in collaborative work, punctuality; Behaves in
honorable manner in evaluations (art°148) (attitude)
6.4.2. Grading System
Academic Regulation: Article 143 The grading system is uniform for all subjects taught
at the UNS. It includes a scale from 0 to 20. The minimum passing grade is 11. Any fraction in
the grading of written tests and evaluations of execution tasks and task of
production, as well as in the calculation of the averages of the first unit, second and third
unit of the subject, equal to or greater than 0.5 is rounded up to the nearest integer in favor of
student.
Tutoring and Counseling is a permanent function of the teacher and aims to provide support to
the students of UNS in personal, academic and professional training aspects. (Art. 201º of
R.E.). Teachers, in order to fulfill the role of tutoring, counseling, and advising, must set up to two
hours in your weekly class schedule, indicating schedule and environment. (Art. 210º of the R.E.), the same which
will be provided through videoconference.
