Dear Sir,
I am writing to express my strong interest in your ESC volunteering project in Leipzig,
Germany. As someone passionate about both child development and cultural exchange, I
believe this opportunity perfectly matches my skills and experiences.
I have always been fascinated by Germany and its culture, which is why I am currently
improving my German, reaching an A2-B1 level. I am eager to immerse myself further in the
language and culture through this project. My love for traveling has taken me to countries
such as Italy, France, Slovakia, Austria, and Switzerland, allowing me to experience various
cultures and ways of life.

As a sociology graduate and currently a 3rd-year student of child development, I have


gained deep knowledge in child psychology and development throughout my education. I
hold certifications in child psychotherapy approaches, intervention techniques, family
counseling, and play therapy. I have had the opportunity to apply this theoretical
knowledge in practice, and I am excited to use these skills in your project.
My passion for working with children has been a guiding force throughout my life. I have
volunteered in special education settings, where I worked with children who had unique
needs, helping them with activities and ensuring they felt supported. These experiences
have taught me patience, creativity, and how to engage children in both fun and
educational ways. Additionally, I took part in relief efforts during the 2023 earthquake in
Turkey, where I worked with children and young people in camps, providing support during
difficult times. These experiences have further strengthened my determination to make a
difference in children's lives, no matter the circumstances.

I also bring a creative side to this role. I have been involved in theater for over six years,
directing plays and performing in productions like Macbeth. Theater has taught me the
value of storytelling, teamwork, and expression—skills that I believe will be particularly
beneficial in working with children. Additionally, I have a deep interest in arts and crafts,
creating handmade jewelry and clay objects in my free time. I am eager to incorporate these
creative elements into my time at the kindergarten, through artistic projects and playful
activities.

In terms of sports, I have been playing tennis for 11 years and have competed nationally in
canoeing. I believe that sports and physical activities are essential in a child’s development,
and I would love to contribute my knowledge in this area to your program, especially in a
setting that values inclusive education and integration.
My education in sociology, experience in cognitive-behavioral therapy, and passion for
working with children make me a strong candidate for this project. I am excited about the
opportunity to bring my creativity, enthusiasm, and cultural perspective to the
kindergarten in Leipzig.
