Map View

Map view is an extension which helps the user to visualize their desired Zoho CRM data geographically on maps. These
can be your leads, accounts, contacts, deals or either any of your customized module in Zoho CRM. Get a bird’s eye view
of your data with this powerful Zoho CRM extension.

Syncing of Data
After Installation, you need to Sync the data from any of your desired module to the Map View by making selections.
Select the records of your desired module and then hit the “Sync Map View” button. The pop-up shows the stats of the
success and failure of the records. While syncing your data it must contain address fields in the record for map view to
fetch the latitude and longitude of the data to represent its location on maps.

Note: Sync button is only available for the Leads, Accounts, Contacts and Vendors Modules in the Zoho CRM. For the
rest of the modules use the internal widget’s Import button.
Sync Through widget:
In order to sync the data internally from the widget go to the Settings. Click to the Modules and then click the Import
button. Import button will open a pop-up where you can select the data according to your own will. The data can be All
Data or the Query Data.

All Data: It syncs all the data that is in the selected module. It will sync all the data from the Zoho CRM to the Map view.

Query Data: In the Query Data you just filter the data that needs to be synced. For instance, select the required module
click to the import button, then click to the Query Data. Select the required field and apply the constraint.

As shown below, if the user want to add only the data where the industry is exactly the Information technology, user can
simply apply the constraint through query data.

Tags:
Tags are added to each of the record whenever thee data is synced, these tags shows the success (Synced Successfully)
or either the reason why the record is not synced (Address Invalid or Missing Address).

Custom Modules:
Users are able to sync their custom modules as well, where the custom address fields can be mapped according to the
business requirement. Maps the custom fields for the addresses so that map view can get the precise and accurate
location of the data on maps.

Click to the “Create New Module” Button and select the desired custom module. Select the address fields afterwards
and Import the required data.

Note: API for the custom modules must be enabled so that custom modules can be seen in the list and the data to be
visible on the maps. Try to clear cache at least once before adding custom modules.

View All/ View Selected:


View the data against each module separately by selecting the desired module. You can view overall data on maps if you
haven’t selected any of the module. Each module is a different color to identify on map whether it is lead, account or
contacts.

Search:
Wild character search allows you to search any record on maps. You can search either module wise or an overall search
in the whole data.

Bubble map:
Toggle the button in the bubble map pallet to turn on bubble map to display the important areas or the desired regions
marked by you according to your own business strategy or target.

Add & Update bubbles:
Add bubbles to the desired area covering any of the region or the boundaries that you wish. Click to the + button to add
Address, radius and select the color from the color pallet. Click to the save changes and go back to the maps.

Your desired area is highlighted by the bubble. Bubble maps are good for comparing proportions over geographic
regions without the issues caused by regional area size. Add multiple bubbles covering different range showed by
different colors.

Heat map:
Turn on heat map to visualize data and its magnitude as color in two dimensions. The variation in color occurs by the
intensity. It basically helps the user to figure out the heat points/ intense points.

Label Settings:
Label settings basically allows you to select the desired fields as label for the records to be shown on the map. Suppose,
user want to see the Leads by their email on the map, so the leads label needs to be set to “Email” select it from the
dropdown and click to the “Update changes”.

Filters:
Apply filters to any of your desired module. Select a module and click to the dropdown icon then click the “+ Add a
Filter”. Create any of your desired filter by selecting the desired field and its value, save it for later use. Filters can be
edited any time according to your need.

Themes
Switch between the dark and light theme through the top right most button for a better visibility. Set the dark theme for
a better visibility at night to protect your vision.

Plan Routes:
Map out your journeys by using Map View to generate an optimized route from your starting point to the final
destination end point. Plan and share your route with others through a convenient link.

Area Based Routes:
Select a specific area by drawing a boundary with the drawing pallet. All the leads in the selected area will be visible in
the destination drop down where you can select or plan route from data to another data located in your provided
boundaries.

Note: Routes is a Pro functionality that needs to be purchased. The first 5 Routes created by the users are Free.

Once the user selects the specific area and add multiple destinations respectively to specify the initial and the final
destination. Click the Get Routes button and it will show you the optimized route on the map. This route is saved as
shareable convenient link so that you can share your route with others.

Marker/Pointers Update:
Customizing pointer icons for each module sounds like a great way to visually differentiate between different sets of
data on maps. It can help users quickly identify which module's data they're looking at without confusion.

Data Update:
You can seamlessly sync and update the data from Mapview to Zoho CRM without any hassle. Simply edit fields and
information directly through maps by clicking on the edit button at the bottom of each records, and Map View will
automatically update the changes in Zoho CRM for you.

Delete:
The Clicking the "Delete" button will remove the record from the maps interface; however, it will not delete the data
from Zoho CRM. The original record will still be securely stored within the CRM system. If needed in the future, you can
easily restore the data to the maps by using the "Sync" button. This ensures that no critical information is lost during the
removal process.

Add-ons/ Billing:
Add-Ons are the enhanced premium features with enhanced functionality and a more customized way of using the
extension. Add-Ons like Deals, Custom Address Fields, Custom Module and Routes are available in Mapview.

Get the complete Billing History under the Add-Ons that contains all the plans and bills charged to users for buying the
Additional features.
