creation on Seller Central
Inbound shipment creation on seller central is a 3 to 6
steps process depending on the choice of carrier
partner (AGL/SEND/PCP/Seller Managed).

Step 1
Choose the inventory that you would like to send.
Step 2
Choose your shipping method.
Step 3
Print carton/box labels.

Step 4
Confirm carrier details (only for PCP and Seller
Managed carrier options)
Step 5
Print pallet labels (only for PCP carrier option).

Step 6
Track Details (only for PCP carrier option).

Eligible Inventory for AWD Shipments

Eligible SKUs
• Send inventory with maximum carton/box dimensions of 25 x 25 x 25 in or
maximum weight of 50 lb.
• Non-Sortable SKUs inside a carton/box cannot be larger than 25 x 25 x 25 in
or weigh more than 49 lb.
• Send cartons/boxes that contain one unique SKU each, not a mix of SKUs
• Avoid sending dangerous goods, heavy and bulky items, jewelry, refrigerated
goods, low-cost store inventory and temperature controlled items.

This section explains on steps involved for creating


inbound shipment on seller central with AGL as a
carrier partner
Step 1: Choose the inventory you would like to send to AWD

1a Choose your preferred destination region by clicking on “Change Ship to”

1b Select your preferred destination


region (East Coast, West Coast, South
Central, South East and Amazon
Assigned) and click on Submit.
If you are unsure, choose Amazon
assigned and we will pick the DC that is
optimal for you based on lead time
and/or capacity considerations
*Please Note: Amazon Global Logistics does not deliver shipments to South Central (Texas)
Step 1: Choose the inventory you would like to send to AWD

Select the corresponding check box for each SKU you wish to send to AWD, choose the
packing templates from the dropdown, and enter the number of boxes/cartons you wish to
send to AWD under Boxes.

If a packing template doesn’t already exist, you can create one by following these instructions.

1c Choose “File upload” option under SKU selection method for bulk upload, click Generate
and download template on right to get the template, complete the file with the list of SKUs
that you wish to send to AWD and upload your completed file.

After you have entered the number of boxes, click on the Ready to send button.

Scroll down until you see SKUs ready to send and the button to Confirm and continue. After
clicking this button, you will be redirected to the shipping page.
Step 2: Choose your shipping method
At this stage, you can select your carrier. Choose between Amazon Global Logistics (AGL)* or your
own carrier. If you are unsure of the carrier, leave the Amazon Global Logistics checked. The below
steps are specifically for AGL as carrier partner.

Leave the check box marked for Amazon Select the appropriate
Global Logistics (recommended). Shipping mode.

*Please Note: Amazon Global Logistics is available only for shipments being sent from China.

This section explains on steps involved for creating


inbound shipment on seller central with SEND as a
carrier partner from China and Vietnam.
Step 1: Choose the inventory you would like to send to AWD

1a Choose your preferred destination region by clicking on “Change Ship to”

If you are unsure, choose Amazon

for Vietnam. For China, SEND will appear if Amazon Global Logistics checkbox is not selected. If you
select the checkbox, SEND will be visible under own carrier option.

information by clicking on Add Contact

How to Cancel Confirmed AGL Shipment?

How to Cancel Confirmed PCP Shipment?
1. Click Cancel Shipments* located at the bottom right on the STA workflow

2. Confirm you want to cancel the shipment

*Please Note: Shipment cannot be cancelled once they are picked up. Also, for shipments cancelled after 60 minutes from the time of booking, sellers
will not get refund of the shipping charges.

Preparing for shipment pick-up by carrier
Prerequisites
• Before sending a shipment, be sure that the contents follow AWD standards to avoid delays or load refusal.
• Depending on the carrier preference selected (Amazon Global Logistics, Amazon Global Selling SEND, Amazon
Partnered Carrier, Seller Managed Carrier), please ensure that you follow Amazon LTL/FTL/FCL guidelines as per
policy “Seller requirements for LTL, FTL, AND FCL deliveries”.

Steps
Step 1: Labeling Individual Products - Sellers are required to comply with FBA unit labelling guidelines. Refer to the
sample label below.

Step 2: Labeling Cartons - You will be provided SSCC labels instead of an FBA Shipment ID. SSCC labels should be
attached to each shipping carton. Refer to the sample label below.

Step 3: Shipping and Routing Requirements - Sellers are expected to adhere to the FBA Shipping and Routing
requirements, except for the requirement to add an FBA label to each carton. Box weight policies are strictly enforced
and may cause coaching and/or blocked shipments upon replenishment.

Additional labels (Ex: origin – destination labels) can be added but the SSCC label should be completely visible. Back

Booking a delivery appointment (continued)

Important - Make sure that you and your carrier complete the following actions when booking an appointment:

1. Have your carrier create an account on Carrier Central, if it doesn’t have one already. For account instructions, download the
Carrier Central user manual.

2. Carriers must select the destination distribution center that appears on the box labels that are generated in Send to Amazon.
If an incorrect distribution center is selected in the Request tab of Carrier Central, the shipment will be rejected.

3. Carriers must select the freight type, load type, trailer number, and delivery date for your shipment in the Request tab. For
more information, go to page 5 of the Carrier Central user manual.

[Link]’ll be required to provide the following information:


• Amazon reference number
• Progressive number, which you can get from your carrier
• Bill of lading provided by your carrier
• Box count
• Unit count
• Amazon reference ID list
Once the request for an appointment is submitted to Amazon, you’ll get a message confirming that it’s been received. After we
verify the request, the appointment will be scheduled and the appointment details will be sent to the requestor’s email
address. Back

You can check the status of the appointment in the Carrier Appointment Request Portal.
The appointment status will change from Pending confirmation to Confirmed.

Tracking Shipments on Seller Central

Navigate to the Click on Track Shipment. On the “Shipping Queue” page, go to “Amazon
AWD program distribution center shipments” for tracking the
page. shipments sent to AWD.

Only shipments created on Seller Central can be tracked through the above
workflow.
