Introduction

The Community Service Program (CSP) helps students understand the importance of

giving back to society. As part of this program, we took part in a cleaning drive at Trail 5. The

purpose of this activity was to spread awareness about cleanliness, protect nature, and encourage

responsible behavior toward the environment. It also helped us learn the value of teamwork and

social responsibility.

Activities Performed

On the scheduled day, we visited Trail 5 along with our teachers. After reaching there, we

were divided into groups so that the work could be done efficiently. Each group cleaned a

specific area of the trail. We picked up plastic bottles, polythene bags, food wrappers, and other

waste that had been thrown by visitors. We used gloves and garbage bags to maintain hygiene.

After collecting the waste, it was disposed of properly in the available bins. During the activity,

our teacher guided us and explained how such waste can harm the environment.
Experience of the CSP Activities

This activity was a very positive and eye-opening experience for us. It made us realize

how careless behavior can damage natural beauty. Although the cleaning work was tiring, it felt

good to see the trail looking cleaner because of our efforts. Working together strengthened our

team spirit and made us feel responsible as students and citizens. The activity also motivated us

to be more careful about keeping our surroundings clean.

Feedback

Overall, the Community Service Program activity was very useful and meaningful. It

helped us understand the importance of cleanliness, environmental protection, and community

service. Such activities should be organized more often so that students can learn through real-

life experiences. The cleaning drive at Trail 5 was an enjoyable and memorable activity that

encouraged us to adopt positive habits in our daily lives.

participation in the activity.
