The demographic increase of our national population is parallel to

the nutritional needs in contradiction of foods at the national level. In
this opportunity we want to contribute to livestock production "Raising birds".
The fact that the poultry industry is practically the heritage of companies.
national and Peruvian capitals dependent on them, drives us to lead to
the raising of broiler chickens in rural areas and thus optimizing their management and
driving of them. In this way, we contribute to the transfer and
exchange of nutritional needs.

ThesuccessA good poultry farming relies on professional and excellent management.

nurturing, and for that we must give importance to therecordsand analyze the
results obtained on the farm. It is advisable to demand a good
number of small chickens, a first-class food or balanced feed, a
good farm management and excellent biosecurity. But we have to have
present the accounting, technical, and economic management of a farm, for
to complement the entire cycle that this line requires, which is done in the current time
very competitive for thesupply and demandexisting, the inflations and devaluations

The evaluation of this project begins with the Market study, where we
analyze the demand by investigating the unmet need in the market of
quality fattening chickens, includes the analysis of the supply where it will be given to
to know what other companies in the southern sector are engaged in fattening activities
and sale of chickens and the analysis of its marketing, determining
what means will be used to get our products to
our clients, then we focus on the optimal localization of the design,
determine the optimal size of the facilities (sheds and other amenities) the
which will respond to the unmet demand identified in the market study,
type of production cycles (appropriate selling age of the chickens expressed in
days), quantity and type of each of the machines needed to maintain the
favorable conditions for the proper growth of chickens, determine the
number of warehouses, the convenient distribution and dimensions of the warehouses and

CREATION OF A CHICKEN FARM

MARKET STUDY

One of the economic activities that has experienced an incredible

growth and development, in recent decades is poultry activity, which
includes the production of poultry meat (chicken).

ThePeruvian Poultry Association(APA) reported that the increase of

purchasing power of thePeruvian middle classhas managed to double the consumption
per capita chicken at the national level in the last ten years (2004-2013).

During that period (2004-2013), per capita chicken consumption has grown by
92% on average, while the price of eggs increased by 55%.

1. DEFINITION OF PRODUCTS

The main products are:

Broiler chicken or COBB 500.

The pollen

The poultry manure will also be sold, which is the bird's fecal waste.
that the production of compost for fertilization will proceed
organic in the agricultural fields of the Tumbes region.

2. CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PRODUCTS TO BE OFFERED.

The sales will be done directly with the wholesaler.

This chicken meat will come from the Cobb-500 line, which is characterized by
to be animals of good conformation and excellent growth rate and they are
competitive breeders. They could weigh between 1,800 kg and 2,500 kg.

3. PROJECT INFLUENCE AREA

The project's area of influence covers the province of Tumbes.

Tumbes is acityfrom the northwest corner of thePeru, located near the

mouth of theTumbes Riverin theGulf of Guayaquil(Pacific Ocean),

COMPETITION.

The main chicken suppliers in the province of Tumbes are

from other departments since there are no poultry farms in the area.

Below are the main chicken producers at the national level:

6. DEMAND ANALYSIS

2
NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF TUMBES
FACULTY OF ECONOMIC SCIENCES
SCHOOL OF ACCOUNTING

6.1.1 PROJECTION AND TREND OF DEMAND.

The main objective pursued with demand analysis is

determine and measure what are the forces that affect the
market requirements regarding a good or service, thus
how to determine the possibility of participation of the product of
project in the satisfaction of said demand. The demand is a function
of a series of factors, such as the real need that exists for the
good or service, its price, the income level of the population, and others,
so in the study it will be necessary to take into account information
coming from primary and secondary sources, from indicators
econometric, etc.

7. MARKETING

The marketing strategies we will use to immerse ourselves in the market,

until we become known and more stable (economically speaking), they will be
the following:

Having regular customers.

Always seek new markets at both regional and national levels.

Offer a slightly lower price.

Offer credit to reliable buyers.

8. SIZE AND LOCATION

8.1 Size

Size is defined as the maximum production capacity of the project.

a height of 3 to 5 cm.

Analysis of the factors that justify the location

One of the main reasons for the location of the farm, if not the most
important, it refers to the proximity to the market and also because they have
with an access route that facilitates the arrival of the product into the hands of
consumer in optimal conditions, and to the raw material suppliers.

In addition to that, it is a place with less traffic and therefore less

pollution.

develop. Light in broiler chickens is not as necessary as in the
raising laying hens.

9.5.5 Vaccination Program

First of all, we must ensure the origin of our BB chickens,

that come from breeders that have health guarantees and
may be born with high maternal immunity.

Below is a vaccination schedule that must be followed in

rigorous form

9.5.6 Health Precautions

At the end of the campaign, a product is required that has all the
positive characteristics for the consumer, therefore it would be

d. Reservoir control:
There are various products on the market that can help us to
control those animals that could be considered as sources of
infection within the farm (rats, rodents, and wild birds) and that
take it as a precaution.

e. Type of bed.
The rice straw will be used as the only bedding for the birds, being this
of good quality and mold-free.

f. Other birds.
The raising of other birds on the farm will not be allowed, as it is considered
potential source of infection.

g. Dead birds.
