[Link]:
It is commonly accepted that any advanced structural engineering program must have a minimum
introduction to structural dynamics with the aim of establishing concepts that will be used in
more advanced courses such as random vibrations, wind engineering, engineering
seismic resistant. This course is designed to fulfill this purpose.
By the end of the course, it is expected that the student will have a basic understanding of:
discrete systems of one degree and several degrees of freedom
continuous systems
the dynamic response of discrete and continuous systems to free and forced vibrations
Master's in Structural Engineering
5. METHODOLOGY
The teaching of the subject is based on oral presentations, encouraging learning through the
participation and discussion of presented topics.
An active method is used in the teaching-learning process, in which students have
direct participation in all classes, whether individually or in work groups. The teacher
it will use exposition and exemplification to complement the students' activity, using
material audiovisual. El trabajo en aula se complementará con 04 tareas que los estudiantes realizarán
weekly.
