3 Learning Outcomes
Description
This course is a continuation of the Basic Speaking I course, which provides knowledge, understanding, and
proficiency in speaking skills. The material provided is in the form of simple conversations in everyday life,
including several themes, such as the location of a place and direction, buying and selling, my daily life,
hobbies, school life, and describing objects, places, and people. The form of teaching used in this course is
face-to-face lectures and practicum in tutorial classes. Assessments in this course include attendance, activity
in class, assignments, quizzes, MT, and FT. The expected result after students takes this course is that
students can know, understand, master, and practice all forms of simple conversation patterns according to
the material above to be implemented in everyday life.

5 Assessment methods
The test/evaluation method consists of structured assignments, quizzes, Midterm Tests (MT), Final Tests
(FT), and practice. The final grade in this lecture is obtained through the formula or calculation below.
FS = 0,10 P + 0,15 Q + 0,20 SA + 0,25 MT + 0,30 FT
Description:
FS = Final Score SA = Structured Assignment
P = Praktice MT = Midterm Test
Q = Quiz FT = Final Test
1) Practice: Assessment is based on student activity following and completing the practical tutorial class
assignments from the 1st-10th meetings.
2) Quiz: Quiz is conducted 2x in one semester, in the 4th meeting and 9th meeting. A quiz is in the form of an
oral test. The quiz material at the 4th meeting is from material at the 1st-3rd meeting, while at the 9th
meeting, the quiz use material from the 7th-9th meeting.
3) Structured assignments: Assessment is based on student assignments from the 2nd-15th meetings.
4) MT: The exam is held at the 8th meeting in the form of an oral test. The exam material is from the 1st-7th
meeting material
5) FT: The exam is held at the 16th meeting in oral form.
