Instruction: Perform the following project assignment in 9-15 pages

1. How do you define an ideal Project? Take example of one successful Ethiopian Project
such as in Government, Private or NGO of your convenience and provide a case
summary.

2. Provide practical distinction and relationship among project, program and portfolio? (Take
Practical example from your company or any other company you are familiar with)

3. Take one proto-type project in Ethiopian company case (Eg. you might take one company
having a project) and perform how each steps were performed regarding Project identification
and feasibility study with respect to your chosen organizational project.

4. Provide some of the Techniques for managing project implementation such as CPM (Critical Path
Method ) and PERT (Project Evaluation and Review Technique ) and explain its implementation in
the company you selected to answer this question.

5. Take one Ethiopian Company having a project and explain the factors that affect the success of
project implantation and problems in the project implementation
