System Servicing NC II.
By the way, I would like to acknowledge the presence of our Assessment Center

from the provincial office Mr. Robert P. Revilla, Good morning ma’am and sir ,
thank you for being with us today for this assessment.
They are here to oversee the conduct of this assessment and to check if the
conduct of this assessment is in accordance with the prescribed assessment
methodology and procedures.
Before we start, please stand for a short prayer, In the name of the Father and of

Candidates, I have here with me your accomplished application form and self-
assessment guide. This is an indication that you know and can perform all the
units of competencies enumerated in this qualification.
Also I have here with me your signed CCTV Consent form which means you are
allowing us to monitor and capture you during the assessment process. This is for
security purpose. Is that okey?
The purpose of this assessment is to identify your level of competency in
Computer System Servicing NC II. And if you will pass this assessment, it will also
serve as your ticket in applying job related on this qualification
Today I am going to administer the National Competency Assessment in
Computer System Servicing NC II. This qualification level composed of 3
competencies; the BASIC, COMMON and CORE. This assessment comprises the
four dimensions of competency.
The core competencies in Computer System Servicing NC II
Install and Configure Computer Systems
Set-up Computer Networks
Set-up Computer Servers
Maintain and Repair Computer System and Networks
And this is also a Project -based assessment, and this is a full qualification; so you
must demonstrate competence in all competencies in order for you to have a
National Certificate. Is that clear?
The task that you need to perform are:
Terminate Cable Network
Set-up Computer Servers
You will be given 4 hours to finish the task.
I will collect evidences through Written Test, Demonstration and Oral
Questioning. This assessment method can help measure your underpinning
knowledge and skill for CSS NC II.
For your personal needs restroom is located at the back of this building.
Canteen is just besides this building in case that you want to take your snack.
We have there our Medicinal cabinet in case that you’re not feeling well.
However, during the assessment you are not allowed to leave the premises of the
assessment center. Did you understand candidates?
If you have difficulties understanding the given instructions, please raise your
hand so that I can translate it for you. And during the written examination. If you
have dilemmas writing down your answer pls. don’t be shy because we can
accept your answer verbally.
If you have questions or clarifications regarding with the assessment pls. raise
your hand so I can help you. However, once the assessment started please
refrain from asking questions because it is no longer allowed.
With regards with the result of your assessment and if you have any questions of
that one you can write an appeal and you can submit to the TESDA Provincial
Office where the assessment center and the assessor are accredited
For the issuance of your National Certificate the AC manager will inform you on
where you can get your national certificate within 5 working days after the
assessment.
And after the assessment if you found to be not competent you don’t need to
worry because you can be reassess anytime at your convenience. In case the
reassessment is full qualification then you need to take the whole assessment
process
If you found to be competent in some unit of competency then reassessment will
focus in the unit of competency where you found to be not yet competent.
However if you failed two consecutive assessment you will be advice to take the
refresher course before you can take the reassessment.
And during the assessment proper please observe safety and please wear your
PPE as you perform the task. Please check all the electrical equipment before
plugging it. Please observe body mechanics in lifting heavy equipment to avoid
back injuries.
Avoid using of Gadgets like smartphones, ipods or any kind of gadgets, don’t eat
inside the assessment center, and please don’t disturb your co-candidates while
working.
In case of emergency or accident please call my attention so I can provide you
with the first aid and should the need arise the first aid cabinet is located at the
right side of the laundry workshop
So with regards of the result of your assessment we observe strict confidentiality
this is to ensure your integrity.
Okey the result may only be available to the authorize personnel and also to the
institution where you had your actual training.
So in relation to these, the assessment package is kept in a secure place. This is
to ensure the integrity of the assessment package.
So may I ask everyone to refrain from giving information that took place during
the assessment process.

Since none, this is the specific instruction kindly read instruction carefully and
you have questions just call my attention so I can translate that one as well from
English to your local dialect.
