OVERVIEW

Why indoor signal can be weak

There are several obstacles that can contribute to the poor reception you receive in your home:

• Distance to your carrier’s cell phone tower

• Obstructions caused by terrain and foliage
• Building materials like low-E glass, metal and concrete

How it works
1. The high-gain outside antenna captures even the weakest cell signal, from the cell tower where it is aimed.
2. The 5X Max outside booster uses Extended Range Technology™ (ERT) to grab signal outside, at its strongest point,
where it boosts voice, text and data signals for all 4G & 5G devices.
3. Using ultra low-loss cable, signal is transmitted from the outside to the 5X Max inside host amplifier.
4. The signal is then broadcast from the inside panel antenna to all cellular devices in range.
5. The 5X Max system also works in reverse, boosting the outgoing signal and to faraway and hard-to-reach towers.

BEFORE INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT. BEFORE YOU BEGIN.

IDENTIFY THE AREA OF STRONGEST OUTSIDE SIGNAL.

Since booster performance is largely determined by the signal strength received by your outside
antenna, it is important to identify the location of best signal for placement of your antenna.
The best location is generally found on the side of your home that faces your nearest cell tower
and as high as possible -- where the antenna can ‘see’ your cell tower. Better signal received
by your outside antenna means better booster performance inside. Conversely, the weaker your
outside signal, the more limited your coverage will be indoors.
If you’re unsure of the direction of your carrier’s closest cell tower, see page 10 on Finding
your closest cell tower for suggestions.

DO NOT RELY ON CELL PHONE BARS AS AN ACCURATE MEASURING TOOL

Cell phone bars are an approximation of your signal that varies by phone and carrier. Placing
your phone in test mode or downloading an app that shows your signal in decibels (dB) is more
accurate. For help using this feature on your device, see " Taking signal measurements with your
phone" on page 7.
During planning, installation and testing, take multiple readings several minutes apart. Also,

verify that you can place and hold a call.

Taking signal measurements with your phone

Cell phone bars are an approximation of your signal that varies by phone and carrier. Viewing measurements in decibel
milliwatts provides a more accurate reading. In most cases, units are reported in RSRP (LTE & 5G signals) and will
generally fall between -80 dBm (strong) and -130 dBm (very weak). If you are connected over 3G or HSPA the decibels
units are reported in RSSI and the units will generally fall between -50 dBm (strong) and -100 dBm (very weak).

PLEASE NOTE, To achieve optimal performance for your booster, it is vital to take care choosing antenna placement
and antenna alignment The coverage area that the booster provides is directly related to the strength of incoming
signal received by the outdoor antenna. Mounting the outside antenna where the signal is the strongest provides the
best results. if signal is extremely weak where the outside antenna is installed, indoor coverage will be limited.

Measuring signal will be helpful to (1) identify the location outside with the strongest signal for placement of your outside
antenna and (2) to measure indoor signal strength during installation and testing of your system.
During installation and testing, always take multiple readings several minutes apart. Also, take note of the band number
related to each reading for accurate comparisons.

 OTE, signal measurements are displayed alongside their measurement scale. RSRP is one scale commonly used, as is RSSI. For more
information, see "Signal measurement scales" on page 9.

FOR IPHONE dBm signal measurements, use the methods below.

1. First turn off your Wi-Fi

2. Dial *3001#12345#* then press the call button.
3. The field test screen will appear. Once open, the menu navigation varies depending on the iOS version.
4. Navigate to “Cell Info” in the menu
5. The measurement that reads “RSRP” is your cellular signal strength in decibel-milliwatts.

The relationship between RSRP and RSSI is approximate
and depends on the channel bandwidth, noise floor and

Finding your closest cell tower

Since performance is largely determined by the signal received by the outdoor antenna, it is important to know the
direction in which you will aim your directional outside antenna before installation.
The best location for your outside antenna is generally found on the side facing your nearest cell tower and as high as
possible -- where the antenna can ‘see’ your cell tower.

Soft install
Prior to securing the location of any booster components, a “soft install” is recommended as adjustments may be needed
to optimize performance.
Refrain from securing your cable, drilling any holes, etc. until you complete and test the installation of the system.

• 1 to 2 inch diameter pole for mounting outside antenna (if needed, SC-MOUNT-JBAR can be purchased separately)
• Recommended: Surge protected power strip and cable clips

Grounding the outside antenna

SureCall recommends all outside antennas be properly grounded. See "Optional accessories" on page 5.

Power requirements
This booster uses 12v input voltage (power supply part: SC-AC-12V3.8A-B). DO NOT use the booster with a higher or lower
voltage power supply. This can damage the booster, cause personal injury, and void your warranty.
Use of a power strip with surge protection is strongly recommended.

Routing cable

SureCall recommends that cable connected to the outside antenna run straight down and away from the outside antenna,
not wrapped or draped near it. When securing the cable, be sure to remove any kinks or loops.
Route cable along and through a wall that leads closest to the location of the booster.
SureCall recommends that cable entering the home from an exterior wall use appropriately rated sealant/caulking at the
point of entry.
Following completion of install, SureCall recommends weatherproofing the exterior coax connections with sealing tape.

Installation overview

Step 1: Find area outside with strongest signal

Identify the outside location with the strongest signal for
placement of your outdoor antenna. Maximum performance
is achieved when the antenna is aimed toward the strongest
signal source. If you know the direction of your provider’s
tower, point the antenna in that direction. If you are unsure
of the location, see "Finding your closest cell tower" on page
10.

Step 2: Install the outside antenna and outside amplifier

Once you have identified the area of strongest signal, choose where you will mount your outside antenna and outside
amplifier while considering the following antenna placement guidelines.
Note there are two main outside components -- a Yagi directional antenna and SureCall outside amplifier.

hand tighten the connection.

Do not fix mounting hardware until the optimum antenna

angle is found. Loosely secure the antenna in a manner that

Step 3: Mount the inside antennas

Your kit includes a set of two inside antennas -- Either

Omni-directional UltraThin ceiling-mount antennas or
Directional wall-mount panel antennas.
Both kits include a set of indoor cables that are used to
connect the antennas to the inside host unit.
The range of antenna is dependent on three factors:
• Physical obstructions
• Power generated by booster
• Signal level received by the outdoor antenna

For kit A with omni-directional antennas:
Face inside antenna away from outside antenna
• Optimal placement should be central to where signal
is needed with minimal obstacles near the antennas.
• SureCall's UltraThin dome antenna is mounted to the
ceiling and broadcasts in 360°.
For kit B with directional panel antennas:
• Antennas should be mounted to a wall facing the
area signal is needed – SureCall’s panel antenna
broadcasts in a 120˚ beamwidth.

Choose a location for your inside antennas while

considering the following general guidelines:
• Maximize isolation between the outside antenna and DO NOT face outside antenna towards the inside antenna
inside antennas (minimum 25 ft vertical separation or
50 ft of horizontal separation).
• The performance of your antennas is limited by
building materials between the antenna and your
mobile device. The antenna may be concealed behind
a wall provided there are no materials that could
obstruct signals.
• Orient the inside antennas so they aim away from the
outdoor antenna.

UltraThin antenna installation

The SC-528W wideband antenna is an omni-directional Indoor
interior antenna that gathers and sends signals from all cable
sides. Besides the antenna itself, parts include mounting
options for an install that is accessible by crawl space or
one that is not. Optimally, It should be located central to Threaded mount
where signal is needed with minimal obstacles. Threaded nut

Step 4: Place the inside host unit and connect cables

Place the Inside host unit in your chosen location that is
on a flat surface or mounted to a wall. Choose a location
that is near a working AC outlet and in an accessible
location.
To install the booster to a wall, use the supplied screws or
appropriate screws for surface and drill through screw tab
holes on unit.

Step 5: Connect to power

Connect the AC power supply to the booster and plug into a 110V AC power outlet. Once the booster has been completely
assembled, turn the booster’s power switch on.
Note: If the Power LED does not turn ON or the Alert LEDs continue to flash, see the Troubleshooting section.

BOOSTER TESTING AND OPTIMIZATION

When your system is in place and fully connected, test system performance in locations you have previously experienced poor
signal. Verify that you have a reliable connection by taking multiple readings several minutes apart. For instructions on taking
measurements with your cell phone, see page 7. Also, verify that you can place and hold a call.
If the signal strength has improved, your booster is working.
Remember that coverage varies based on outdoor signal level, house construction, and antenna placement. Coverage in
adjoining rooms will be reduced by walls and building materials.
The gain settings should always be at maximum level unless otherwise indicated. They should ONLY be reduced if
other recommended actions do not resolve the issue. In any of these cases, the first action should be to increase the
antenna isolation between the inside and outside antenna as much as possible.

Antenna optimization
The 5X Max automatically reduces gain (coverage performance) because of insufficient RF separation between the inside
and outside antennas. Consider the options listed in this section to resolve issues with inadequate antenna isolation.

• Verify that a minimum distance of 25 vertical feet has been achieved. 50 ft or more horizontal separation may be
needed, however, especially where vertical separation is not possible.
• Check for sources of interference such as cellular modems or hotspots.

• Verify antennas are not placed near a window.

• Ensure that antennas are aimed away from one another.
• Mount the outside antenna at the corner or side of the roof which faces your cell tower.
• Avoid placing / aiming the yagi antenna towards materials (such as windows) where the signal may be reflected
towards your home or office.
• Keep in mind, identifying the setup that yields the best possible results for your environment will come from testing
-- balancing the elimination of interference and while also receiving the best possible signal.

Antenna testing
As a final step, identify the precise antenna angle which provides the maximum possible performance. For this step, it’s
best to have another person inside to report results.
• Rotate the outside antenna around the mast, making angle adjustments in progressively smaller increments until the
peak angle is found. Record your results below using one or both methods. After each angle test, power cycle the
booster.
There are two methods available to confirm you've achieved the optimum angle for your Yagi antenna:
1. Note the signal reading from the inside antenna’s projected coverage area.
2. Make angle adjustments to the Yagi antenna while reading the RSSI number for each band appearing on the LCD
screen until the best (or strongest ) value for all bands is found. Record your results below.

Once you’ve identified the optimum angle, secure the outside antenna in place.

WARRANTY
Three-year product warranty
To activate your three-year manufacturer’s warranty, register at [Link]/activate
SureCall warrants its products for three years from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials. Specifications are subject
to change. The three-year warranty only applies to products meeting the latest FCC Certification Guidelines stated on 2/20/2013 and going into effect
April 30, 2014. A two-year warranty applies to any products manufactured before May 1, 2014.
Products returned by customers must be in their original, un-modified condition, shipped in the original or protective packaging with proof-of-
purchase documentation enclosed, and a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number printed clearly on the outside of the shipping container.
Buyers may obtain an RMA number for warranty returns by calling the SureCall Return Department toll-free at 1-888-365-6283. Any returns received
by SureCall without an RMA number clearly printed on the outside of the shipping container will be returned to sender. In order to receive full credit
for signal boosters, all accessories originally included in the signal booster box must be returned with the signal booster. (The Buyer does not need
to include accessories sold in addition to the signal booster, such as antennas or cables.)
This warranty does not apply to any product determined by SureCall to have been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, or mishandling that alters or
damages the product’s physical or electronic properties.
SureCall warrants to the Buyer that each of its products, when shipped, will be free from defects in material and workmanship, and will perform in
full accordance with applicable specifications. The limit of liability under this warranty is, at SureCall’s option, to repair or replace any product or
part thereof which was purchased up to THREE YEARS after May 1, 2014 or TWO YEARS for products purchased before May 1, 2014, as determined
by examination by SureCall, prove defective in material and/or workmanship. Warranty returns must first be authorized in writing by SureCall.
Disassembly of any SureCall product by anyone other than an authorized representative of SureCall voids this warranty in its entirety. SureCall
reserves the right to make changes in any of its products without incurring any obligation to make the same changes on previously delivered
products.
As a condition to the warranties provided for herein, the Buyer will prepay the shipping charges for all products returned to SureCall for repair, and
SureCall will pay the return shipping with the exception of products returned from outside the United States, in which case the Buyer will pay the
shipping charges.

Raisons pour un signal intérieur faible
Plusieurs obstacles peuvent contribuer à une faible réception à votre domicile:

• Distance à la tour de relais de votre opérateur de téléphone cellulaire

• Obstructions causées par la topographie et le feuillage
• Matériaux de construction comme les vitrages à faible émissivité, les métaux et le béton

Fonctionnement
1. L’antenne extérieure à gain élevé capte même les signaux cellulaires les plus faibles, depuis la tour de relais vers
laquelle elle est orientée.
2. L'amplificateur d'extérieur 5X Max utilise la technologie Extended Range Technology™ (ERT) pour capter le signal
extérieur, à l'endroit le plus fort, et amplifie les signaux vocaux , texte et de données pour tous les appareils 4G et 5G.
3. À l'aide d'un câble à très faible perte, le signal est transmis de l'extérieur vers l'amplificateur hôte 5X Max situé à
l'intérieur.
4. Le signal est ensuite transmis de l'antenne pour panneau intérieure sur tous les appareils cellulaires à portée.
5. Le système 5X Max fonctionne également en sens inverse, augmentant le signal sortant vers les tours de relais
éloignées et difficiles à atteindre.

AVANT L’INSTALLATION

IMPORTANT. AVANT DE COMMENCER.

IDENTIFIEZ LA ZONE OÙ LE SIGNAL EXTÉRIEUR EST LE PLUS FORT.
Les performances de l’amplificateur sont en grande partie déterminées par la force du signal reçu
par votre antenne extérieure. Il est donc important d’identifier l’emplacement du meilleur signal
possible pour fixer votre antenne.
Le meilleur emplacement se trouve en général sur le côté de votre domicile, face à la tour de relais la
plus proche, et le plus haut possible – là où l’antenne peut ‘voir’ la tour de relais. Un meilleur signal reçu
par votre antenne extérieure se traduit par de meilleures performances de l’amplificateur à l’intérieur.
Inversement, plus le signal extérieur est faible, plus la zone de couverture à l’intérieur est limitée.
Si vous n’êtes pas sur de l’orientation de la tour de relais la plus proche, reportez-vous à la section
Trouver la Tour de Relais la plus Proche à la page 38 pour de l’aide à ce sujet.

LES BARRES DE VOTRE TÉLÉPHONE PORTABLE NE CONSTITUENT PAS UN OUTIL DE

MESURE PRÉCIS.
Les barres de votre téléphone portable représentent une approximation de votre signal qui varie
en fonction du téléphone et de l’opérateur. Placer votre téléphone en mode test ou télécharger
une application qui affiche votre signal en décibels (dB) est recommandé pour être plus précis.
Pour de l’aide sur cette fonction de votre dispositif, reportez-vous à la page 35, "Mesure du
Signal avec votre Téléphone".
Lors de l’installation et du test de votre dispositif, prenez différentes lectures à plusieurs minutes
d’intervalle. Vérifiez aussi que vous pouvez placer et maintenir un appel.

Mesure du signal avec votre téléphone

Les barres de votre téléphone portable représentent une approximation de votre signal qui varie en fonction du téléphone
et de l’opérateur. La lecture en décibel-milliwatts est plus précise. Dans la plupart des cas, les unités sont rapportées en
RSRP (signaux LTE et 5G) et se situeront généralement entre -80 dBm (fort) et -130 dBm (très faible).
Si vous êtes connecté en 3G ou HSPA , les unités de décibels sont rapportées dans RSSI et les unités se situeront
généralement entre -50 dBm (fort) et -100 dBm (très faible).

Mesurer le signal permet (1) d’identifier l’emplacement à l’extérieur où le signal est le plus fort pour placer votre antenne
extérieure (2) de mesurer la force du signal à l’intérieur pendant l’installation et de tester votre système.
Lors de l’installation et du test de votre dispositif, prenez différentes lectures à plusieurs minutes d’intervalle. Notez
également le numéro de bande pour chaque lecture pour une meilleure comparaison.

 OTEZ: Les lectures du signal s’affichent à côté de l’échelle de mesure. RSRP est une échelle couramment utilisée, comme RSSI. Pour

Pour mesurer le signal dBm d’un IPHONE, suivez la méthode suivante.

1. Désactivez votre Wi-Fi.

2. Composez le *3001#12345#* puis appuyez sur le bouton Appel (Call).

Trouver la tour de relais la plus proche

Les performances de votre dispositif sont largement déterminées par le signal que l’antenne extérieure reçoit. Il est donc
important de savoir comment orienter votre antenne extérieure directionnelle avant l’installation.
Le meilleur emplacement pour l’antenne extérieure se trouve en général sur le côté face à la tour de relais la plus proche
et le plus haut possible – là où l’antenne peut ‘voir’ la tour de relais.

Pré-installation
Avant de fixer l’emplacement des composants de l’amplificateur, il est recommandé d’effectuer une pré-installation afin
de pouvoir ajuster leurs emplacements et d’optimiser les performances.
Ne fixez pas votre câble, ne percez pas de trou, etc, tant que vous n’avez pas terminé et testé l’installation de votre
système.

Outils nécessaires
• Échelle
• Perceuse
• Poteau de 1 à 2 po de diamètre pour fixer l’antenne extérieure (SC-MOUNT-JBAR peut être acheté séparément si
nécessaire)
• Recommandé: Multiprise protégée contre les surtensions et serre-câbles

Mise à la terre de l’antenne extérieure

SureCall recommande de mettre toutes les antennes extérieures à la terre correctement. (Voir Accessoires Optionnels à
la page 33 pour des informations sur le kit de mise à terre recommandé).

Exigences d’alimentation
Cet amplificateur utilise une tension d’entrée de 12v (pièce d’alimentation électrique: SC-AC-12V3.8A-B). N’utilisez
PAS l’amplificateur avec une alimentation dont la tension est plus élevée ou plus basse. Cela peut endommager
l’amplificateur, causer des blessures corporelles et annuler votre garantie.
L’utilisation d’une multiprise protégée contre les surtensions est fortement recommandée.

Placement du câble
SureCall recommande de placer le câble connecté à l’antenne extérieure de manière linéaire, le plus loin possible de
l’antenne, et d’éviter de l’enrouler près de l’antenne. Lorsque vous fixez le câble, évitez les plis ou les boucles.

Acheminez le câble le long d’un mur qui arrive le plus près possible de l’emplacement de l’amplificateur.
SureCall recommande d’utiliser des produits de calfeutrage appropriés pour fixer le câble qui pénètre votre domicile
depuis un mur extérieur.

Identifiez l’emplacement à l’extérieur où le signal est

le plus fort pour y placer votre antenne extérieure. Les
performances sont optimales lorsque l’antenne est
orientée vers la source du signal le plus fort. Si vous savez
dans quelle direction se trouve la tour de relais de votre
opérateur, orientez l’antenne dans cette direction. Si vous
ne le savez pas, reportez-vous à la section Trouver la tour
de relais la plus proche à la page 38.

Une fois que vous avez identifié l’emplacement où le signal est le plus fort, choisissez l’endroit où vous allez monter
l’antenne extérieure et ampli 5X Max d'extérieur en tenant compte des recommandations suivantes.
Notez qu'il existe deux composants extérieurs principaux -- l’antenne Yagi directionnelle et ampli extérieur de SureCall

• Effectuez le montage le plus haut possible au-dessus du toit

– La zone de montage doit être libre de tout obstacle dans un 25 pi minimum
rayon d’au moins 3 pi, libre d’autres éléments rayonnants et de distance
d’objets métalliques tels que des canalisations ou revêtements verticale
métalliques.
• Séparez les antennes au maximum, au moins 25 pi de séparation
verticale (ou 50 pi de séparation horizontale minimum) entre les
antennes extérieure et intérieure.
• Les deux composants doivent être montés sur une surface à
l’extérieur ou sur un poteau de 1 à 2 po de diamètre. Un poteau
de montage est vendu séparément (SC-MOUNT-JBAR). Vous
pouvez aussi utiliser des conduites en PVC disponibles dans
votre quincaillerie locale.
• Évitez de placer l’antenne près d’une fenêtre,si possible, car cela
augmente les risques d’oscillation.

Votre kit comprend deux antennes intérieures -- soit des

antennes omni-directionnelles ultra-fines à monter au
plafond, soit des antennes pour panneau directionnelles à
monter sur un mur.
Les deux kits contiennent un jeu de câbles d'intérieur qui
permet de connecter les antennes à l'unité hôte intérieure.
L'étendue des antennes dépend de 3 facteurs:
• Obstructions physiques
• Puissance générée par l'amplificateur
• Niveau du signal reçu par l'antenne extérieure
Pour le kit A avec antennes omni-directionnelles:
Orientez l'antenne intérieure à l'opposé de l'antenne
• L'emplacement optimal se situe au centre de l'endroit extérieure
où le signal est nécessaire avec un minimum
d'obstacles près des antennes.
• L'antenne parabole ultra-fine de SureCall est fixée au
plafond et émet dans un rayon de 360º.

Choisissez l'emplacement des antennes intérieures en prenant intérieure
en compte les recommandations générales suivantes:
• Maximisez l'isolation entre les antennes extérieures et
intérieures (25 pi de séparation verticale ou 50 pi de
séparation horizontale minimum).
• Les performances de vos antennes sont affectées
par les matériaux de construction entre les antennes
et votre appareil cellulaire. L'antenne peut être
cachée derrière un mur s'il n'y a pas de matériaux qui
bloquent les signaux.
• Orientez les antennes intérieures en les dirigeant à
l'opposé de l'antenne extérieure.

L'antenne à large bande SC-588W est une antenne omni- Câble
directionnelle intérieure qui capte et transmet les signaux intérieur
qui arrivent de tous les côtés. En plus de l'antenne, des
pièces sont fournies qui permettent d'effectuer une
installation accessible ou inaccessible par vide sanitaire. Montage fileté

Placez l'unité hôte intérieure à l'endroit que vous avez

choisi sur une surface plate ou montée sur un mur.
Choisissez un emplacement près d'une prise secteur
fonctionnelle et accessible.
Pour installer l’amplificateur sur un mur, utilisez les vis
fournies ou d’autres vis si vous effectuez le montage
sur une surface et percez à travers les trous des vis sur
l’unité.

Unite hôte intérieure

Câble
Connectez chaque antenne à un câble intérieur fourni
dans le kit.
Acheminez les câbles vers l’emplacement choisi de votre
unite hôte intérieure.
Connectez aux ports étiquetés «INSIDE 1» et «INSIDE 2»
Connectez les antennes intérieures à l’unité hôte à l’aide
des câbles fournis. Les câbles doivent être connectés aux
ports de l’unité hôte étiquetés «INSIDE 1» et «INSIDE 2».

Étape 5: Brancher l'alimentation

Connectez le bloc d’alimentation à l’amplificateur et branchez-le sur une prise de courant alternatif 110V. Une fois que
l’assemblage de l’amplificateur est terminé, allumez-le.
Remarque: Si le voyant d’alimentation LED ne s’allume PAS ou si les voyants d’alerte LED clignotent, reportez-vous à la
section «Résolution des Problèmes».

I MPORTANT: Il est déconseillé d’utiliser cet amplificateur près d’un feu ou de flammes. Rangement et transport: Rangez et placez votre
dispositif à un endroit sec où la température n’est pas extrême.

TESTER ET OPTIMISER LES PERFORMANCES

Lorsque votre système est en place et entièrement connecté, testez ses performances en plaçant des appels aux endroits
où le signal était faible auparavant. Vérifiez que votre connexion est fiable en prenant différentes lectures à plusieurs
minutes d’intervalle. Pour de l’aide à ce sujet, voir la page 35. Vérifiez que vous pouvez aussi placer et maintenir un
appel.
Si votre signal est amélioré, l’amplificateur fonctionne correctement.
La zone de couverture varie en fonction de la force du signal à l’extérieur, des matériaux de construction du bàtiment et
de l’emplacement de l’antenne. La zone de couverture dans les pièces adjacentes est réduite à cause des murs et des
matériaux de construction.
Les boutons de réglage du gain doivent toujours être au maximum sauf indication contraire. Vous ne devez les
diminuer que si les autres options recommandées ne peuvent pas résoudre le problème. Dans tous ces cas, la première
chose à faire est d’augmenter le plus possible l’isolation entre l’antenne intérieure et l’antenne extérieure.

Optimisation des antennes

L’amplificateur 5X Max réduit automatiquement le gain (qualité de la couverture) si la séparation des radiofréquences
entre les antennes intérieure et extérieure est insuffisante. Envisagez les options offertes dans cette section pour
résoudre les problèmes d’isolation des antennes.
Veuillez noter que dans les maisons construites en bois de plus petite superficie, une réduction du gain (voyant JAUNE

qui clignote lentement) est considérée comme normale.

• Vérifiez que la distance de séparation est d’au moins 25 pi verticalement. Il se peut que 50 pi minimum de séparation
horizontale soit nécessaire, surtout si la séparation verticale n’est pas possible.
• Vérifiez s’il existe des sources d’interférence comme des modems ou des points d’accès publics.
• Vérifiez que les antennes ne sont pas placées près d’une fenêtre.
• Assurez-vous que les antennes sont orientées à l’opposé l’une de l’autre.
• Montez l’antenne extérieure au coin ou sur le côté du toit qui fait face à la tour de relais.
• Évitez de placer / d’orienter l’antenne vers des matériaux (tels que des fenêtres) où le signal risque d’être reflété vers votre
domicile ou bureau.
N’oubliez pas que tester votre système vous permet d’obtenir la meilleure configuration possible et une performance
optimale – contrebalançant l’élimination des interférences tout en recevant le meilleur signal possible.

Tester l’antenne
La dernière étape consiste à trouver l’angle optimal de l’antenne afin d’obtenir les meilleures performances possibles.
Il est recommandé d’effectuer cette étape avec une autre personne pour noter les résultats. Notez les résultats dans le
tableau ci-dessous.
Pivotez l’antenne extérieure autour du poteau en commençant avec des angles larges, puis en plus petits incréments
jusqu’à obtenir l’angle au sommet. Après chaque incrément, redémarrez l’amplificateur et notez la force du signal depuis
la zone projetée de l’antenne intérieure.
Une fois que vous avez identité l’angle optimal, fixez l’antenne extérieure.

tement. La plupart des fournisseurs de services cellulaires autorisent l’utilisation d’amplificateurs de signal. Il se peut que certains fournisseurs
n’autorisent pas l’utilisation de ce dispositif sur leur réseau. Si vous n’êtes pas sûr, contactez votre fournisseur.
Au Canada, AVANT SON UTILISATION, vous devez satisfaire toutes les exigences établies par ISED CPC-2-1-051.

GARANTIE

Garantie de trois ans

Veuillez prendre le temps d’enregistrer votre nouveau produit sur le site: [Link]/activate
SureCall garantit ses produits pendant trois ans à compter de la date d’achat contre tout vice de fabrication ou de matière. Les spécifications sont
sujettes à modification. La garantie de trois ans ne s’applique qu’aux produits satisfaisant les dernières directives de Certification FCC déclarées le
20/02/2013 et en vigueur le 30 avril 2014. Une garantie de deux ans s’applique à tous les produits fabriqués avant le 1er mai 2014.
Les produits retournés par les clients doivent être dans leur état original, non modifié et expédiés dans leur emballage d’origine avec preuve d’achat
jointe et un numéro d’autorisation de retour de marchandise (RMA) imprimé clairement à l’extérieur de l’emballage d’expédition.
Les acheteurs peuvent obtenir un numéro de RMA pour les retours de garantie en appelant le département de retour SureCall sans frais au
1-888-365-6283. Tout retour reçu par SureCall sans numéro de RMA clairement imprimé sur l’extérieur de l’emballage d’expédition sera retourné à
l’expéditeur. Afin de recevoir un crédit complet pour les amplificateurs de signal, tous les accessoires initialement inclus dans la boîte du suram-
plificateur doivent être retournés avec le suramplificateur. (L’acheteur n’a pas besoin d’inclure les accessoires vendus en plus de l’amplificateur de
signal, comme les antennes ou les câbles.)
Cette garantie ne s’applique pas à tout produit dont SureCall a déterminé qu’il a été soumis à une mauvaise utilisation, un abus, la négligence ou une
mauvaise manipulation qui modifie ou endommage des propriétés physiques ou électroniques de l’appareil.
SureCall garantit à l’acheteur que chacun de ses produits, au moment de l’expédition, est exempt de tout vice de matériau et de fabrication et fonc-
tionnera en pleine conformité avec les spécifications applicables. La limite de responsabilité en vertu de cette garantie consiste, au gré de SureCall,
à réparer ou remplacer tout produit ou partie de celui-ci qui a été acheté jusqu’à TROIS ANS après le 1er mai 2014 ou DEUX ANS pour les produits
achetés avant le 1er mai 2014, tel que déterminé par un examen de SureCall, prouvant que le produit avait des défauts de matériau ou de fabrication.
Les réclamations de garantie doivent d’abord être autorisées par écrit par SureCall. Le démontage de tout produit SureCall par quiconque autre qu’un
représentant autorisé de SureCall annule la présente garantie dans son intégralité. SureCall se réserve le droit d’apporter des modifications à l’un de
ses produits sans avoir l’obligation d’apporter les mêmes modifications sur des produits livrés auparavant.
Comme condition aux garanties prévues dans les présentes, l’acheteur paiera d’avance les frais de livraison pour tous les produits retournés à
SureCall pour réparation et SureCall paiera l’expédition de retour à l’exception des produits retournés en dehors des États-Unis, dans lequel cas
l’acheteur paiera les frais d’expédition.
L’acheteur paiera les frais d’inspection et de test de toute marchandise retournée sous garantie ou non, qui répond aux spécifications applicables ou
qui n’est pas défectueuse ou non couverte par cette garantie.
Les produits vendus par SureCall ne sont pas considérés défectueux ou non conformes à la commande de l’acheteur s’ils répondent de manière
satisfaisante aux exigences de performance qui ont été publiées dans la littérature de spécification du produit, ou conformément aux échantillons
fournis par SureCall. Cette garantie ne s’applique pas à des produits ou parties de produit qui ont fait l’objet d’accident, de négligence, d’altération,
