Learning Objective of Traffic Engineering
• The purpose of this course is to equip students with the
knowledge, skills and competencies required to analyze,
design and manage traffic system.

• The course will broaden the students understanding of traffic


behaviour and will equip them with the skills to diagnose
problems associated with traffic and their locations.

• At the end of the course, the student should be able to


independently observe, analyse, quantify and model traffic
on basic roadway sections.

• Parking study survey.

ASSESSMENT

Learning outcomes will be accessed through

• Evaluation of Assignments (Home Works)

• Mid-Semester Exams

• Final examination.

CLASS PARTICIPATION:

• Students are required to attend and


participate in the lectures, tests, and projects
and submit all assignments and projects
promptly.

• The instructor must be notified in advance in


the event that a student cannot attend a class
or submit assignment on time.

COURSE GRADING:

• Assignments (Home Work) = 20 %

• Mid-Semester Exams = 20 %

• Final Exam = 60 %
