Computer Literacy Excel Assignment

1. Open Excel and type out the above data into an Excel spreadsheet. Where there is
diagonal text, bold text and thick boarders, these must show.
2. Insert a header and include important information about the data in the header.
3. Insert a footer and include important information about yourself in the footer.
4. Sort the table by surname…
5. Determine the total or sum for of marks for each student.
6. Use a formula to calculate the percentage for each student
7. Determine the maximum mark for each test.
8. Determine the minimum mark for each test.
9. Use colour to make your data easier to read and more appealing to look at.
10. Create a graph that considers only the percentage for each student, for each student
only the name must show. Use appropriate headings for the X and Y axis. The graph
must also have an appropriate heading that describes it. (Hint: on top of the slides
that are provided, students can use youtube to further search how to do this).
11. Save as by your name, surname and std number.
