I am very excited to be starting my freshman year at the University of
Transport in Ho Chi Minh City. I am majoring in logistics and supply chain
management, and I am eager to pursue a career in this field
Speaking about a future job after graduation?
a. After Receiving your interesting questions, the job that comes to my
mind I would like to become first is logistics coordinator. My parents
recommended it to me, and I believe that the profession is an excellent
match for my expertise and desire. To be honest, I'm a bachelor at the
University Transportation of HCM City. My major is logistics and
SCM. Thanks to daily lessons with basic professional knowledge it
helped me enhance my professional insight about economic principles
around the world so that is why I'm eager to dedicate myself to using
my knowledge to join in hand with the nation's overall economic
growth and success.
Why did you choose my school?
The University of Transport in Ho Chi Minh City is a national ranking of
university, located in southern Vietnam, and needs no introduction. It
provides a good curriculum in logistics and supply chain management for
students who are enthusiastic about these fields. I am aware that a degree
from this university can be valuable in job interviews and open doors to
exciting opportunities. During the admissions day, my father and I visited
the university and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious study spaces,
cutting-edge technology, and dedicated staff who were eager to support
students.
3. Can you tell me why you chose your major?
The individual feels that majoring in logistics will help me improve my skills
in international business and overseas markets, knowledge it helped
enhance my professional insight about economics, as well as their English
speaking talents, which are required for successful contact with foreign
individuals.
 4. TOPIC HOMETOWN AND FAMILY
Do you come from a large family?
- Well, I’m from a nuclear family. Just my parents and me so I think I’m the
only child. In my mind, my family is close-knit because besides going to
work and studying, we spend most of the time together and enjoy hanging
out with them and watching TV. Family is an essential part of my life, and
we can come back anytime we have difficulty so family roles are not being
replaced in the future.
Is there anything you usually do together with your family?
I enjoy getting together for dinner when I have free time. We occasionally
go to new places to try delicious meals. Usually, on the weekends, we meet
at a coffee shop to discuss what’s happening in our lives. In my opinion,
without my family, I couldn't survive, but I was able to exist without friends
How often do you see your grandparents?
My family and my grandparents live quite a distance apart. My grandparents
still reside in the country, but I live in SG. I was only able to see them during
the Tet holiday because of my hectic schedule. Therefore, I intend to visit
my grandparents more often soon.

How long have you lived there?

I was born and raised in the Ho Chi Minh metropolis, so Saigon has
always been an important part of putting down roots in this place I call home.

What's the weather like there typically?

Vietnam’s weather is generally warm and tropical, with Ho Chi Minh City
(Saigon) experiencing a tropical monsoon climate. The dry season lasts from
December to April, while the rainy season spans from May to November.
Summers are typically hot and humid, with temperatures ranging from 30–
35°C and occasional rain showers, while winters are milder, with
temperatures around 20–25°C.
Do you prefer cold or hot weather?
Personally, I prefer hot weather. I enjoy the warmth and the ability to spend
more time outdoors. I also love the feeling of the sun on my skin and the
opportunity to engage in activities like swimming or playing football with
my friend.
Do you prefer dry or wet weather?
I personally prefer dry weather over wet weather. I find that sunny and dry
days bring a sense of positivity and energy. It allows me to engage in
outdoor activities, go for walks, or enjoy picnics with friends and family.
Wet weather, on the other hand, can often be gloomy and restrict outdoor
plans.
Are you in the habit of checking the weather forecast? When/How
often?
“Yes, I am in the habit of checking the weather forecast regularly. I usually
check it every morning before I leave the house. It helps me plan my
day accordingly, whether I need to carry an umbrella, wear warmer
clothes, or prepare for any weather-related changes. I also check the weather
forecast if I have any outdoor activities or travel plans coming up.”
Would you like to visit other cities that have different climates from
where you live?
Yes, I would love to visit cities with different climates from where I live.
Living in a city with a warm and tropical climate, I am curious to experience
the distinct seasons and cooler temperatures in other parts of the world.
Exploring cities with a snowy winter or colorful autumn would be a
delightful change from the perpetual summer I'm accustomed to.”

 Young people in my town meet their friends in various places, depending on
their interests and preferences. I believe cafes are popular locations for
young people to hang out with their friends, particularly in the afternoon or
evening. They can talk, study, work, or play games while drinking coffee,
tea, or juice. My town has several cafes with various themes and styles,

- Describe an enjoyable journey by public transport:

My family and I had a fantastic journey to the energetic city of Phu Quoc
last summer, all thanks to public transportation. Our adventure began the
moment we caught the bus, eager to immerse ourselves in the sights and
sounds of this vibrant city.

The bus ride offered a unique window into the daily life of Phu Quoc,
allowing us to witness its magnificent buildings, vibrant markets, and
colorful street art along the beach coast. The buses in Phu Quoc are modern
and comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and spacious seating,
making the journey pleasant even during the hot summer days. Large
windows provided panoramic views of the cityscape, and we could easily
take photos or just enjoy the scenery as we traveled.

Traveling by bus made our exploration of Phu Quoc effortless and exciting.
We could easily hop on and off at various stops, discovering hidden gems
and experiencing the local culture up close. The bus routes were well-
marked and frequent, ensuring we never had to wait long to continue our
journey. The friendly bus drivers and clear route maps made navigation
straightforward, even for first-time visitors.

One of the highlights was the An Thoi POW Camp, which we reached
conveniently by bus. This historical site provided us with a deeper
understanding of the sacrifices made by Vietnamese soldiers, thanks to its
valuable documentation and antiques. The bus stop was just a short walk
from the camp, making it easily accessible and allowing us to spend ample
time exploring the [Link] transportation also made it simple to
enjoy the culinary delights of Phu Quoc. At different bus stops, we tasted a
variety of local dishes from bustling street food vendors and cozy eateries.
We indulged in fresh seafood, tropical fruits, and traditional Vietnamese
snacks. Shopping for unique souvenirs was equally convenient, as many
markets and shops were located near bus stops, offering everything from
handmade crafts to local specialties.

Despite occasional overcrowding and minor distractions, the journey was

filled with enjoyment and adventure. The buses were well-maintained and
clean, contributing to a pleasant travel experience. We were able to relax and
take in the scenery without the stress of driving. By the end of each day, we
felt a pleasant exhaustion, but unwinding at Starfish Beach, watching the
sunset, and swimming in the tranquil blue ocean reenergized us for the next
day’s adventures.
 Overall, the journey was an excellent balance of excitement and relaxation,
providing a fresh perspective on Phu Quoc through the lens of public
transportation. The convenience and accessibility of the bus system allowed
us to experience the city more authentically and enjoyably, making our
vacation truly memorable.

1. Do you like playing sports?
Well, I think I’m a big fan of sports. Although I’m not good at it, my
favorite one is swimming. You know I can often meet new people and
make friends when I do sports. And as I think that, you know,
practicing a sport regularly does wonders for my health. It keeps
me in shape, it helps to relieve my back and neck pains. And last
but not least, it refreshes my mind after a long day of hard work.
Do you like to watch sports on TV? Why or why not?

What is the most popular sport in your country?
Well, in Vietnam right now, it’s football. I think football is considered
the king of sports. It’s very easy to play. All you need is just a ball, a few
friends, and two goals, which you can always make or create by marking the
ground with, you know, a piece of clothing or bags, for example. And I think
it’s a competitive sport, it can be very enjoyable to watch and play.
Do you prefer individual sports or team sports? Why?
I prefer team sports mainly because team sports encourage interaction with
other players and teach them to cooperate, and thus help improve the skill
level of an individual team member further, which wouldn’t be possible
otherwise. Team sports provide more opportunities for us to learn
meaningful things such as responsibility, unity, teamwork, and bravery.
How do you stay motivated to participate in sports regularly?

 Next, I would like to talk about my interests. I have an immense passion for
playing badminton because, in my opinion, sports are an essential activity in

badminton because I have been playing it since I was a little boy, and it may
be my innate talent

7. TOPIC ROUTINE
I would like to talk about my morning routine, which I really enjoy and
find beneficial to my day. Typically, I wake up at around 6:00 am and
immediately do some light stretching exercises to get my body
warmed up and ready for the day. After that, I take a quick shower
to freshen up and feel energized.

Once I'm dressed, I usually make myself a cup of coffee and enjoy it
while reading the news or browsing my favorite websites. I find this
time to be very relaxing, as I have the chance to ease into my
day while keeping up with current events. This helps me feel more
prepared and focused for the day ahead.

Next, I spend a few minutes meditating or doing some deep

breathing exercises to help me stay calm and centered. This really
helps me start my day on a positive note, and it sets the tone for
the rest of my day.

After that, I prepare a healthy breakfast, which usually consists of some

fruits, yogurt, and whole-grain toast. I really enjoy cooking, so I take my
time preparing the meal, and I find the process to be quite therapeutic.

In summary, my morning routine is something I really enjoy, as it helps

me to feel energized, focused, and positive for the day ahead. The
combination of stretching, showering, enjoying coffee, reading, and
meditating, followed by a healthy breakfast, creates a sense
of balance and harmony that I find invaluable for my physical and
mental well-being.

It is indeed of paramount importance. A great daily routine will help you a ton in
deciding what to do to start your day and what should be the next moves. Without a
good daily routine, you are likely to end up being clueless of what to go first in the
morning and that will kill your overall productivity.

Have you ever had to change your daily routine? Why?

What is your favorite part of the day?

Hands down it's the evening. After a hard day at work with a stuffed calendar.I
would say the time after work is extremely precious for me to recharge my
batteries and reflect my day as well.

How do you relax at the end of the day?

Describe a famous person you admire.

Well, the famous person I’m going to describe is Lionel Messi. He is an Argentina
footballer. He played for Barcelona from 2003 to 2023, and after that, he joined the
Inter-Miami club and the CEO of this team is David Beckham. In the past, in 2014
this was the first time I had the opportunity to know and watch the final match of
the FIFA World Cup in Brazil between Argentina and Germany, and unlucky his
team was defeated by Germany in the extra time.

- The first reason I admire him, is because of his talent. He scored an amazing
curveball from a free-kick- this is the most difficult skill in soccer. –

I also like his personality because he is so friendly and kind to his fans- you know
that most celebrities don’t like to be interrupted by their fans but for Messi, you
can take photos with him, especially since he is always a priority for the young
children who want to take a photo with him –

Finally, I very admire him for his dedication and efforts to help his country
become the world champion of the FIFA World Cup in 2023. This event helps him
to break the rumors and gossip about his talents. His story, gave me the important
lesson is never giving up when faced with change.
