Objectives: By the end of the session students will be able to:
What is the structure of a story?
Define character, setting and plot of the story.
Learning Outcomes:
Students will be able who are the character of the story, the setting of the story and the
plot of the story as well.
Students will illustrate in their free writing copybook.
Students will write a sentence using simple and decodable words.
Students will be able to know the deference between a question & a statement.

Stage 1: Activating Prior Knowledge Activity:
First, greet the students.
Ask the students to help me write the long & short date on the board.

Tell students that people write to give information about places and things and people.
Tell students that captions give details about what is happening in a picture.
Work with children to brainstorm some places where they might see a caption, such as
the underneath the photographs in a book.

Students will take turn to answer the questions in the practice book. and they will be
asked to draw a picture in their free writing copybook and write a short sentence about
it.
