The aim of this report is to monitor and control progress on the Work Package (WP).

Progress summary

[Provides a record of current achievements, and immediate expectations of the WP.


It provides an accurate history of the WP and communicates to the interested parties the
current status of the WP, integrating progress tracking, change control and issue
managing.

It shall include:

Accomplishments on this period;


Items scheduled and not completed on this period;
Planned activities for the next period;
Reference to new issues identified on the current period;
Reference to any issues resolved on the current period;
Identification of any predictable slippage to the stage schedule, along with
causes and corrective action;
Identification of any predictable cost overrun, along with cause and corrective
action;]

Schedule

[Schedule updated with:


Actual start date for tasks started in the month;
Actual end date for tasks finished in the month;
Actual work (in hours) per task in the month;
Estimated work (in hours) to complete the tasks;
Actual dates for meetings held and deliverables made available in the
month;]

[If the project has exceeded the schedule or costs and is under quality levels
established, some corrective action must be taken in a way that the impact on the
project is minimal so that it can be successfully completed.
The first step is to confirm which component of the project is out of control and
analyse the causes of this situation;
Determine the impact on the project of doing nothing and create a “Recovery
plan”; the several aspects of the project shall be analysed: scope, plan,
schedule, cost, organization.
In this point a new schedule shall be included.]

changes can have consequences on schedule, costs or on the project scope.
The objective of this point is to control additional work to the planned activities.
The proposed change requests will be submitted on a Change Request Form by

decisions that have to be taken in order that the project can be carried out as
planned.
The identified issues will be submitted on an Issues Reporting Form by the WP
responsible.]
