Introduction Our project is called “Trashy but Classy” because we turn
plastic waste into something useful and attractive. Our main idea is: “Giving plastic a second chance.”
2. The Problem Plastic waste is a big problem around the world. • It harms the environment. • It fills
landfills. • Most plastic items like bottles take hundreds of years to break down. So we wanted to find a
small but effective solution to reduce plastic waste at home. 3. Our Material Selection We chose plastic
bottles and plastic boxes because: • They are easily available in every home. • They are strong and
waterproof. • Instead of throwing them away, we can use them to make something useful. 4. Our
Product: Upcycled Mini Dustbin We decided to create a mini dustbin from waste plastic. It is small,
stylish, and perfect for places like: • Study tables • Cars • Offices • Craft rooms How we made it: 1.
Collect clean plastic bottles/boxes. 2. Cut and shape them to form a small bin. 3. Decorate them to
make them look neat and attractive. 5. Why This Product is Useful This mini dustbin helps keep small
spaces clean and organised. • Students can use it for pencil shavings and papers. • Drivers can use it
for small car trash. • Office workers can use it for daily desk waste. • Artists can use it for thread, paper,
or cloth scraps. 6. Sustainability & Impact Our project helps the environment by: • Reducing plastic
waste • Promoting upcycling • Encouraging people to think creatively before throwing things away It
also has business potential because: • Materials are almost free (since they are waste). • The making
process is simple. • It can be sold at craft fairs, online, or in schools. 7. Pricing (in simple words) Making
one dustbin costs around ■100. We can sell each one for ■150. If we make 10 dustbins a day: • Total
earning = ■1,500 • Cost = ■1,000 • Profit = ■500 per day This shows the product is affordable, useful,
and profitable. 8. Conclusion Our project proves that small ideas can make a big difference. By turning
