Good day!

We, the first-year Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English students from Eastern Samar
State University – Guiuan Campus, would like to propose a community education program entitled,
“Raising Awareness on Cyberbullying and Responsible Social Media Use through Community Education
in Barangay 8, Guiuan, Eastern Samar, S.Y. 2025–2026.” This serves as a requirement in our Purposive
Communication (ENG 111) subject.

The purpose of our study Is to promote awareness on cyberbullying and responsible social media
use among the youth. Our target participants are residents of Barangay 8 aged 12–24 years old. The two-
day community education program is scheduled for late November 2025 at the Barangay Hall.

In line with this, we respectfully seek your permission and support to conduct our program and to
help inform the youth about the activity. All gathered information will be treated with confidentiality
and used only for academic purposes.
