Creativity and Imagination

Creativity is one of the most important abilities that every human being has because it allows them to

make contact with an inner part that helps with the development of intuition, imagination, initiative and

perception, as well as in the creation of new ideas or innovative solutions to any type of problem.

While it is true that some factors influence creativity in different ways in children,

affecting their school environment, turning it into an unstable atmosphere that impacts their mental well-being and

emotional, placing little importance on creativity as it is one of the elements to overcome any

adversity that arises in the child.

The creative person becomes aware and embraces their own contradictions, being able to accept and face them.

every kind of situations in which the person does not agree, giving the opportunity to new experiences and

making the most of previously acquired situations by giving him the opportunity to modify and

innovate reality. Within education, teachers should provide a space for children to develop their

natural creativity that every being brings with them.

The child is by nature a being that needs to communicate and express themselves to relate to others. It is

a unique being, with a unique and individual capacity for authenticity, we must place creativity in education

supporting him by searching for different alternative innovative solutions, the creation of ideas

different from the everyday, taking risks and exploring uncharted paths. One should not rely on the

traditional education already established in each institution must find a way to reach children and to them

knowledge.

Being creative means, in a way, surpassing one's own possibilities. As prerequisites

we could mention self-care, the effort of introspection, the updating of our

potential and the willingness to reach as far as one is capable of reaching. This is how each person achieves their own

existence in a more creative way, but fostering creativity for everyone does not mean that everyone
individuals develop the same level of creativity and creative behavior. Each one knows themselves

same to build their own life, take on their own responsibilities and their own difficulties and resolve them

new problems. Opening up to the world, using their own resources and finding their own balance, each

which can live in a more autonomous and intense way

For Lamber, (2001). Creativity is expressed through a vast field of possibilities, ranging from

the most 'ordinary' manifestations to the most 'original'. All the realizations can be creative

originating from specific mental procedures or dynamic processes adapted to more or less demanding requirements

conflictive. Daily life offers us many opportunities for creative acts or behaviors, if we allow ourselves

It accounts for the fact that it is in determined situations where creativity is revealed.

People develop creativity, but not everyone develops it in the same way, nor at

same rhythm. There are creative, novel, and innovative behaviors that help people,

to resolve situations that arise unexpectedly and that must be addressed.

Creativity in all eras has been the foundation of the development of individuals and societies, in the

recently, significant situations of creativity for people's lives have emerged. If not

we would develop creativity, we would still remain static as if we were in the Stone Age. Due to the

great transformations and advances of each era, people have developed different actions that are becoming

adapting to the needs of the time, we can see today the great advances we have

such as: electricity, clothing, books, the computer, to mention a few things that people create

to satisfy their interests, needs. Creativity for people is also beneficial for increasing the

self-esteem, interest in life and presence in the world.

Creativity is one of the most important abilities that every human being has because it allows them to

perception, as well as in the creation of new ideas or innovative solutions to any type of problem.

Creativity is a necessary approach in building knowledge, as it helps children

they can provide solutions to problems, but in a novel and original way. Creativity is the ability to make

of somewhat different objects.

Creativity for Sternberg (1997) is a process made up of three types of intelligence:

Creativity is the ability to go beyond what is given and

to generate new and interesting ideas.

The ability to analyze and evaluate ideas, solve problems and

make decisions.

The ability to translate theory into practice.

Imagination is the ability to form a mental image of something that is not perceived by the senses.

It is the mind's ability to construct mental scenes, objects, or events that do not exist.

presents what has happened in the past. Memory is actually a manifestation of imagination. Everything

the world has a certain capacity for imagination. In some it may be very developed while in others

it can manifest in a weaker form. Imagination is not limited to just seeing images in the mind. It includes

the five senses and all feelings. One can imagine a sound, a taste, a smell, a sensation.

physics, a feeling or an emotion. For some people, it is easier to see mental images, while others find it difficult.

it's easier to imagine a feeling, some are more comfortable imagining the sensation of one of the five

sensations. Imagination training offers the ability to combine all the senses. Many of the

techniques mentioned on this website require a great use of imagination, which can be complicated for

many people, who have a reduced ability to imagine. To develop this skill we can

resort to techniques like creative visualization. Visualize an object or a situation, and frequently repeat this.

imagen mental atrae el objeto o la situación a nuestras vidas. Esto nos abre nuevas y fascinantes oportunidades.
This means that we must think only in a positive way about our desires, otherwise we may

to create and attract events, situations, and people into our lives that we actually do not want. This is

What most of us really do is not use the power of imagination correctly...

understanding how to use your imagination correctly and putting this knowledge into practice for your own

The benefit to yourself and to others will guide you on the path to success, satisfaction, and happiness.

The initial path of the process of imagining or the act of being of imagination is the production of the idea as

action of the subject that reflects on reality. The idea as a unit of thought is the starting point of

human intellect, which observes, questions, analyzes, synthesizes, explains, and understands things and the facts of the world.

In the process referred to as the scientific method by Descartes, deepened and expanded upon from the

Greek thought of Socrates, Aristotle, and Plato, dimensioned the demonstrative habit as the possibility

human to know reality or the apprehension of universal and necessary things.

For Aristotle, imagination is the product of the action of the internal faculties of man, which

they formed the phanthasia as imaginative power, where objects were represented forming an image - more

its essence - sustaining the difference between intellect, senses, and imagination. The human intentionality of

Knowing the world arises from the intellect - the formation of ideas by abstracting things through the senses that

they form inwardly the imagination.

Imagination is a very complex process due to its composition; precisely this complexity gives rise to the

main difficulty in studying the creative process and often leads to false representations with

regarding the very nature of this process and its character as something extraordinary and completely

exceptional.
