Unique Method
The unique method is characterized by complexity in the operational dimension; it is the result of
Regional Seminar in Chile in 1968:
An exact date for the first publications of that method is not known; however, it is taken
as a reference the conclusions of the IV Latin American Regional Seminar held in
Concepción (Chile) in 1968, where the structural-functional methodology is questioned and attempts are made
widely on the reconceptualization. The awareness method is taken as a reference
and the formulation of new objectives and professional functions, such as awareness, change
social, social promotion, assistance and social prevention. Some of these elements are included
later in the unique method, which indicates as professional objectives, the attainment of the
social transformation, through rational action, undertaken by men who have taken
awareness of their value and personal dignity. The predominant elements of the method are
they focus on four main functions, each of which corresponds to a process
specific methodological.
Social education that is supported by Paulo Freire's psycho-social method, to which they add the phase
of execution.

FUNCTION OF SOCIAL RESEARCH to achieve:
