Role: Solutioning – Leadership (Behavioral/Soft skills)

Location: New Delhi / Bengaluru

Designation: Manager/Sr. Manager

About upGrad Enterprise:

We partner with organizations to design impactful learning journeys that drive workforce transformation.
We combine deep industry expertise with innovative learning solutions to help enterprises stay ahead in
a fast-changing world.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Solutioning professional to join our growing team to serve leadership. This is a highly
client-facing role where you will partner directly with enterprise clients to understand their business
challenges, assess learning needs, and design tailored L&D solutions.

Unlike a traditional instructional design role, this position focuses on consultative engagement—
listening to client requirements, asking the right questions and translating needs into structured
proposals and learning roadmaps. A background in psychology, consultative sales, or solutioning will
be an added advantage to help understand client perspectives and deliver the most befitting solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for enterprise clients to understand business challenges and
learning requirements.
• Conduct in-depth needs assessments and translate discussions into structured proposals and
solution documents.
• Collaborate with instructional designers and delivery teams to design effective learning solutions.
• Create compelling proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and client presentations.
• Advise clients on suitable learning formats (e-learning, blended, ILT, workshops, coaching, etc.)
based on their context and needs.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (sales, product, delivery) to ensure solution
feasibility and alignment.
• Stay updated with L&D industry trends, emerging learning technologies, and behavioural
science insights to add value in client conversations.
• Build and nurture long-term client relationships by acting as a trusted advisor.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8–12 years of experience in L&D solutioning, client consulting, or corporate training roles.
• Strong exposure to B2B client-facing roles (L&D / HR consulting preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in building and presenting L&D proposals/solutions for enterprise
clients.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Consultative mindset with the ability to understand client psychology and tailor solutions
accordingly.
• Ability to work independently in an individual contributor (IC) role while collaborating with
cross- functional teams.
• Preferred: Background in psychology, HR, organizational behavior, or consulting.
