Title: Group Project Gone Wrong

Theme: Six friends try to finish a last-minute group project — chaos and comedy.
Scene 1: The Setup (Living Room – Evening)
All six are sitting around a messy table with snacks, laptops, and phones. The “group project” is due
tonight.
(30 seconds)
Tiara (panicking): Guys, it’s due in like… 3 hours. And we’ve written NOTHING.
Shivank (scrolling on phone): i’ve been researching reels on insta (shows reel) this might come in handy
Sobiya: Shivank, that’s not research.
Sujaan (serious): Okay focus. Who’s actually writing?
Veer: Not me. I just bring snacks.
Scene 2: Chaos Ensues (Still Living Room)
Tiara (typing fast): Fine, I’ll write. Shivank, give me notes.
Shivank: Notes? I dont take notes on my own life.
Sujaan (stands dramatically): Guys, think about it — what if we… don’t submit at all?
Jaiveer (mock shocked): Great idea! (bro what). what are you saying You’d fail faster than my gym
membership.
Veer (mouth full of chips): Honestly, Sujaan might be cooking and i can smell victory… [pause] no wait, i
think he just farted
(sujaan- throws cushions at him.)

Scene 3: The Panic (Clock shows 11:00 PM)

Tiara (shouting): GUYS! Focus or we’re all cooked.
Sujaan (serious again): Okay, okay. Divide roles. Tiara writes, Sobiya edits, Shivank does slides, Jaiveer
decorates, Veer… stays away from chips.
Veer: No way. Chips fuel my creativity.
Sobiya (snatching chips): Creativity? Bro, your only talent is eating after everything.
Veer: Ya ..so?
(Everyone groans again.)

(They’re supposed to be working. Half of them are distracted again.)

Sobiya (angry): Shivank! Why are you still watching reels?
Shivank (calmly): It’s for “research.” Trust me you guys will see why soon enough.
Tiara: Veer, what are you even doing?
Veer (watching suits): Trying to finish this episode.
Sujaan (sarcastic): Wow. At the rate this is going our presentation is gonna end up like t shirts not suits.
Jaiveer (dramatic sigh): We’re cooked, all in favour of jumping veer? (no one raises their hand so jaiveer
chases veer out the room himself)
Scene 5: The Twist Ending
Everyone’s stressed, chaos returns.
Sobiya: Who deleted the first two pages?!
Shivank (sheepish): Uh… maybe me.
Tiara (snaps): Shivank!
Veer (mock detective voice): Ladies and gentlemen, we have found the traitor.
Sujaan: Punishment must be served (Sujaan pushes Shivank and he spills water on some notes)
tiara: oh great !
Jaiveer (laughing): Chill, it’s not world war 3.
Sobiya: Ok guys we need to lock in
(Everyone cleans up shivanks mess and finally works together, typing, editing, and laughing at Shivank’s
cursed memes with a timelapse)
Tiara (clicks submit button): Done! We made it!
Sujaan: Wait… that was the wrong assignment.
(Pause. Everyone freezes.)
Jaiveer: No way.
Sobiya: You mean we just wrote 10 pages… on the wrong topic?
Veer At least the vibes were good
(Everyone groans, throws papers, and then bursts into laughter. Freeze frame.)

Common questions

Initially, group members show disorganization and lack of focus, with various members distracted by personal activities rather than contributing effectively . As the deadline looms and panic sets in, roles are assigned more clearly, leading to slightly better focus but still hampered by mishaps, such as Shivank deleting content and spilling water on notes . Ultimately, despite the chaos, the group ends with collaborative effort and camaraderie, although they mistakenly submit the wrong assignment .

The comedic elements include witty banter, physical comedy, and absurd suggestions. For example, Sujaan dramatically suggests not submitting the project at all, and the group responds with humor rather than panic . Physical comedy is evident when Sujaan pushes Shivank, resulting in spilled water, and when Jaiveer chases Veer out of the room . These elements emphasize the group's chaotic and dysfunctional approach in a humorous light.

Shivank's insistence that watching Instagram reels counts as 'research' serves as a comedic element by highlighting the absurdity and lack of seriousness with which he approaches the group project . This ongoing joke about his 'research' draws laughter from the group, underscoring his lack of contribution in a humorous manner .

Role division initially helps to instill some level of focus within the group; however, it is not entirely effective due to continued distractions and lack of accountability for completing tasks . While certain members such as Tiara take on definitive roles like writing, others, like Veer, struggle to commit to productive roles, citing distractions like the need for 'creativity fuel' in chips, showing that merely assigning roles does not guarantee task completion . Ultimately, the role division leads to partial progress but fails to prevent critical errors, such as submitting the wrong assignment .

Shivank's behavior, such as his focus on watching reels under the guise of doing 'research,' hinders the group's progress as it draws both criticism and distraction from others . Additionally, he accidentally deletes part of the project, contributing further to the group's challenges .

The underlying themes include procrastination, lack of focus, and eventual teamwork. Initially, the group’s procrastination leads to disorganized chaos, evidenced by distractions and lack of initial action . As pressure mounts, themes of collaboration and collective problem-solving emerge, albeit reluctantly and humorously, as they attempt to meet the deadline despite their mishaps . The story also subtly critiques relying on last-minute efforts and highlights the value of proper time management .

Tiara takes the role of the primary writer during the group project chaos . She is initially panicked about the project deadline and decides to type the content when the others are either unwilling or distracted .

The characters' reactions, such as laughter and a collective groan following their mistakes, reflect both their resilience and lack of seriousness in their teamwork capabilities . Rather than assign blame, they often shift to humor, showing a cohesive if not always productive team dynamic . This reaction pattern suggests they prioritize their social bonds over the task’s success, pointing to a teamwork model more focused on maintaining group camaraderie than maximizing efficiency .

Veer's behavior, characterized by focus on snacks over project work and distractions such as watching TV shows, highlights a common pitfall in group projects: lack of engagement and productivity from some members . His actions exemplify how personal distractions and non-participation can disrupt the workflow and hinder collective productivity .

The twist ending occurs when Tiara submits the assignment, only for Sujaan to reveal that it was the wrong one, leading to a mix of laughter and disbelief among the group . This outcome alters their emotions from stress and urgency to a shared understanding of their collective oversight, ultimately bonding them through humor over their failure .
