Justification of the Course

This course constitutes a first foray into the field of programming.
The student who starts in the Computer Engineering career needs to develop skills in
the art of programming, which requires appropriate pedagogical mediation, that it
allow, based on a series of theoretical concepts, to build programmed solutions, in
a simple environment using tools such as flowcharts and pseudocode.

Overview
The Basic Programming course aims to provide students with the foundations for
algorithmic problem solving using Raptor.
The course covers the analysis of the proposed problem, the design of the proposed solution and the
implementation of said solution.

Objectives

Teaching methodology
The teacher will be responsible for presenting all the theoretical information to the student.
and immediately reinforce the knowledge with exercises and practices.

Students will be provided with the technical knowledge to be able to analyze the
problems raised and thus design and implement an appropriate solution.

The tasks and projects will be designed for the student to delve into the topics.

problems in the context of the course syllabus.

Learning strategies
The student is expected to put into practice the knowledge acquired.
in each lesson through in-class laboratories and practices to be carried out in
extra class time.
The student must carry out programming projects to promote the
practical problem solving and the ability to develop solutions
complete computational.

Finally, the student must solve theoretical-practical problems in tests.
