Characters:
Ravi – Impulsive and adventurous
Neha – Sensible and prudent
Aman – Curious and unsure
Teacher – Guides students toward the right values

Scene 1: School Playground


(Ravi, Neha, and Aman are sitting near the school garden during
lunch break.)

Ravi:
Hey! Did you all hear about the new construction site near the woods?
Aman:
Yes! They say it’s full of old tools and machines. Sounds exciting!
Ravi:
Let’s go explore after school! I heard there’s no guard there in the
evening.
Neha: (concerned)
Wait, wait. That doesn’t sound safe. We don’t know what’s in there. It
could be dangerous.
Ravi:
Oh come on, Neha! You’re always so cautious. Where’s your sense of
adventure?
Aman: (nervous)
I don’t know… what if something happens?
Neha:
It’s not about being boring, Ravi. It’s about being prudent — thinking
about the consequences before we act.

Scene 2: Classroom (after break)


(The teacher enters. The students are still discussing.)

Teacher:
What's the topic today, class?
Neha:
Ma'am, Ravi wants to explore a construction site after school. I think
it’s unsafe.
Teacher: (nods wisely)
Neha is showing prudence. Do any of you know what that means?

Aman:
Is it the same as being afraid?

Teacher:
Not at all. Prudence means being wise, thinking before acting, and
making the right decision, even when something seems fun or
tempting.

Ravi:
But Ma’am, we just wanted a little adventure.

Teacher:
Adventures are good, Ravi, but not when they put you in harm’. A
prudent person chooses safety and responsibility over impulse.

Scene 3: The Next Day (The trio meets again.)

Ravi:
You know what? I thought about what you and Ma'am said. You were
right, Neha. It wasn't worth the risk.

Neha: (smiling)
I’m glad you understand now. Being prudent doesn’t mean never
taking risks – it means taking wise ones.

Aman:
Let’s go to the science museum instead. That sounds safe and fun!

All Together:
Agreed!

(They laugh and exit together.)

Moral:
Prudence is not weakness – it is wisdom. Think before you act.
