INITIAL SETTINGS
CREATING A NEW PROJECT

When you open the program, click on New to open a new file.

In the next window, check the Template option and select the [Link]. If it is
using the program for the first time choose the option Standard Profile in the submenu of
Work Environment Profile. If you have used the program before and have
configured the work environment to your liking, choose the option Last Used Profile.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

At the top of the screen is the main menu (1), the standard toolbar (2), and
below the logo information menu (3). On the left side is the Box of
tools (4) which is divided into 3 tabs: Design (modeling), Document
(documentation) and More. In the center is the workspace area. At the bottom
some information is shown such as drawing scale, layers, rotation of
drawing, set of pens, graphic overlays and others.

Click on Options in the main menu, then Project Preferences and then on

In the next window, the units of measurement that you will work with will be listed. Here is the
time for you to set up as you usually work. I personally like to
use quotas in meters with two decimal places (1.23) for example, but if you use
centimeters, it was almost your criterion to choose, just like with the other units of measurement.
PROJECT PREFERENCES

We will now define the location of the project as Archicad allows for solar study of the
projected edification. So it is essential that you tell him exactly (or as close as possible
possible) where your project will be implemented, so that it can simulate the shadows caused

DEFINITION OF PAVEMENTS

Whenever we start a new project, it is necessary to establish the number of floors and
your elevation. There are 3 ways to do this:
