5.2 Description

The recreational pool of the single-family home is made up of two

ponds, whose dimensions are the following:
Piscina 1 (V: 30.00 m3 )
- Wide: 3.35 m.
- Width: 6.50 m.
- Depth: 1.40 m.

Pool 2 (Depth: 2.40 m3 )

- Wide: 3.35 m.
- Width: 1.80 m.
- Depth: 0.40 m.

These pools are separated by a wall 0.70 meters wide, just as

it is observed in the IS-01 plane.

This element is supplied by the water connection of the house, and has a system
water recirculation that filters as a form of cleaning for its operation
and maintenance.

5.3 Design, Construction, Sanitary Installations and Other Services

The area where the pool will have exclusive use is 81.75 m2.
it is about a building made of noble material. It has been designed with the following
characteristics:

5.2.1Layout and Arrangement: Consistent with the municipality of La

Molina, located within the single-family home.

5.2.2 Space for Mechanical Systems or Services: There

will build a fully dedicated area for the pool, recirculation equipment,

5.2.4 Perimetral Walkway: The area surrounding the pool pond for use
exclusive for user circulation is free from

5.2.5 Pool Classification: By the provided dimensions
of both ponds; Pool 01 is classified as a Recreational Pool and the
pool 02 as a shallow pool.

DIMENSIONING CRITERION

For our case, three people are adopted for every 2 m.2of water surface,
for being an outdoor pool.

5.2.6 Bottom Drain: Covered by 1 grid of 0.40m x 0.40m installed

in the deepest part of the pond that connects with PVC pipes

That is to say, it is fulfilled that: (l) > (III)......FULFILLED

5.2.8 Drain Connection: The pool drain will be reused for the
irrigation of green areas.

5.2.9 Criterion for locating the drains: A 6" drainage system will be projected.
para cada piscina: Piscina 01 y piscina 02.

5.2.10 Cleaning System: This pool will not have a system of

cleaning of surface water, since the water sheet of the pond is 27.80

5.2.11 External drainage system: It is anticipated to have a gutter.

exterior around the entire perimeter that allows for the rapid evacuation of water
superficial products resulting from users leaving the pool.
a) Drainage sumps of 4" will be placed every 2 meters.
b) The channels are covered with finished PVC grates.
c) These waters will be directed straight to the drain that goes to the sewage.

5.2.12 Water Supply: A system has been considered

supply of clean water coming from the housing network.

5.2.13 Compensation Tank: The supply of clean water to the

the pool will be done through a compensation tank, with the purpose of avoiding
the return of this to the supply system and, to regulate the level
necessary for the proper functioning of the pool.

5.2.14 Skimmer: It is the water intake located at the water level.
of the pool water, through which the pump draws the water for its
recirculation. It has a tilting door that allows the passage of
floating particles and prevents their return to the pool. Likewise, inside it a
removable basket retains large impurities to prevent the
clogging of pipes and the pump.

5.2.15 Return Nozzle: 01 return nozzle has been considered.

for the hot tub area, 02 return nozzles for pool 01, and 01
return nozzle for the pool 02.
They are adjustable injectors through which the pump returns the water to the
pools, should be located about 20 to 30 cm below the water level to
create a current capable of moving all the volume of water in the pool.

5.2.16 Health Security: The pool has been constructed with

coatings that may serve as a substrate for growth
microbial.

5.2.17 Accident Prevention: The swimming pool of the single-family home

does not have structural and architectural elements that produce
unsafe conditions.

5.3.3 Water Pump: It is responsible for moving the water from the pool to
its cleaning, maintenance, and emptying; its function is to suck water through
the skimmers and drains, and push it to the filtration system.
The installed pump is of the centrifugal type, powered by an electric motor, with
the following characteristics:

Number of pumps: 1 unit

VII.- OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE

This manual outlines the general activities that must be followed to
to meet its objective and contains the following:

1.- Pool cleaning

The pool will be completely drained at least once every two years or at the end of the
peak time for user influx and maintenance will be carried out simultaneously
including the application on the walls and the floor and will consist of:

2.- Initial chlorination

When filling a pool, the initial chlorine demand can be quite high.
To meet this demand and provide sufficient chlorine residue, in order to
to maintain water safety, an initial dosage of approximately is needed
5ppm of available chlorine.

3.- Mantenimiento de Residuo apropiado del Cloro

One can never emphasize enough the importance of residual chlorine for
maintain the purity of the pool water.
The safety of the water and the hygienic condition of the pool are ensured by maintaining the
residual chlorine in the amount of 0.4 to 1.8 milligrams per liter through the
daily treatment with chlorine in any of its presentations. One must have a
colorimetric comparator game to determine the required dosage for

Chlorine residual tests must be done with the necessary frequency,

milligrams per liter.
To carry out periodic treatments, the first hours of the
morning and night as the most appropriate times for the addition of chlorine, it should be
having a daily treatment program and regular trials to ensure quality
of the swimming pool water.

DECEMBER 2020
4.- General Disinfection
The pool has an automatic device for water disinfection in order to
to protect and adequately maintain its quality.
It is established that if disinfection is performed with chlorine, it will be considered the
following concentrations:
Free residual chlorine: 0.40 to 1.20 milligrams per liter
2. Combined residual chlorine: maximum 0.60 milligrams per liter above the chlorine level
free determined
Total chlorine: maximum 1.8 milligrams per liter
Due to the multiple utility of chlorine as a disinfectant, it is excellent for
sanitize the entire area surrounding the pool.
If other disinfectants are used, their permissible level will be:
Bromine: 1 to 3 milligrams per liter expressed as Br2
2. Copper: less than or equal to 1 milligram per liter, expressed as Cu.
3. Silver: Less than or equal to 50 micrograms per liter, expressed in Ag.
4. Isocyanuric acid: Less than or equal to 75 milligrams per liter expressed in 1-

When cleaning the toilets and toilet accessories, the urinals,
dresser accessories, etc., must be wiped or scrubbed every day with a
chlorine solution at a concentration of 0.1%, both for disinfection and for

remove the stains.

5.- Insect Control and Rodent Control

The pool must be disinfected at least once every six months when it has
permanent opening and at least once before its opening. If it is provided that
this pool is for temporary use this activity will be carried out when the entity
administrator or authority deems appropriate. The rat control treatments

with products that comply with current regulations.

6.- Solid waste

It has been considered that the temporary storage of the solid waste generated
by the users will be through trash cans with their respective plastic bags,
which will be distributed throughout the environment.
For our case, the use of four bins has been considered, and in case of

The proposed design fully guarantees optimal sanitary hygiene conditions and
of security by not considering the existence of angles, bends, and obstacles that
hinder the flow of water or pose a danger to users.

When starting the chemical treatment of the water, on days of intense use of the pool,
when there is the presence of algae or when the residual chlorine level is below 0.4

with a dose of chlorine five times higher.
