INTRODUCTION
The internship is an important component of academic learning as it bridges the gap
between theoretical knowledge and practical industry exposure. This internship at Next
Chapter provided hands-on training in Java programming, focusing primarily on Core Java
concepts, Object-Oriented Programming principles, and console-based application
development.

COMPANY PROFILE
Next Chapter is an IT skill development and training organization dedicated to empowering
students and graduates with practical knowledge of programming and software
development. The organization offers structured learning modules, real-world projects, and
internship opportunities to help students gain confidence and prepare for industry roles.

WORK DONE DURING INTERNSHIP


During the internship, I gained hands-on experience with Core Java fundamentals,
including:
• Variables, Data types, Operators
• Conditional Statements & Loops
• Arrays and Strings
• Classes and Objects
• Constructors
• Inheritance and Polymorphism
• Encapsulation and Abstraction

I also worked on building multiple console-based small programs to strengthen problem-


solving and logical thinking.

PROJECT: LIBRARY BOOK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM


The Library Book Management System is a Java console-based project developed to store
and manage book records. The system allows the user to add new books, display existing
books, search for a book, and delete book records. The project showcases the
implementation of Object-Oriented Programming concepts effectively.

• Delete Book Records

CONCLUSION
This internship enhanced my technical skills, problem-solving ability, and understanding of
real-time application development. I gained confidence in Java programming and
strengthened my foundation in OOP concepts. I am grateful to Next Chapter for providing
this opportunity to learn and grow.
