● Spanish adjectives are after the noun: “una camisa roja” means “a red shirt”

Making nouns plural:

● If a noun ends in a vowel, add an -s. EXAMPLE: camisa > camisas


● If a noun ends in a consonant, add an -es. EXAMPLE: pantalón > pantalones
● If a noun ends in a -z, you drop the -z and add -ces. EXAMPLE: lápiz > lápices
