Kael (grits teeth):
"Yeah? Well, I remember shit too, granny. Like how that grove raised me.
Tell me where the fuck this Druid is hiding."
Old Woman (hand trembling):
"Deep. Where trees bleed. You’ll hear the roots whisperin’... if you make it."

Kael (in dream):
"Whoa... what the holy cow is this place?!" (echoes distort)

"Fuck off with your mystic monologue. I didn’t light that fire — but I’ll sure as hell put it
out."

"Kael… still playing the hero in the ashes?"
Kael (sword drawn, furious):
"Yeah, well… fuck you, fire freak."

Druid (smiling):
"And who lit the match, Kael? Who walked away?"
[Fight begins — fire roots rise from the ground, arena of burning wood and shadows.]

"Come on! Holy cow, you got nothing but smoke and sass!"
(grunts)

Kael (breathing hard, forest dimming):
"It’s over… right…?"

It was... permission."
(soft exhale)
"Holy cow... what the hell are we waking up?"
