connection/link, it is defined for a single technology.

To be valid, a component must contain at least:

a graphic element;
the reference of the component;
a connection point (not mandatory for drawing elements).

To access the component creation window, you need to:

- either use the CREATE button in the window related to OTHER COMPONENT, the component editor is
then empty and the component can only be registered in the starting technology;
either use CREATE FROM after a right click on a selected element on the page in
Of course, the editor opens with the selected component and you can change the technology beforehand.
the recording.

The "Registration" area allows you to save components either temporarily (until
the closure of the software) either permanently in files with the extension "etc".

The upper part of this area displays the temporary directory and component files
present in the software directory. Use the right mouse button on this part to:
create a new file;
create a new folder or subfolder;
rename a file or a folder;
delete a folder (after confirmation).

The lower part lists the components present in the current directory. Use the right button of
mouse over this lower part to remove a component.

Give a name to the component and use the Add button or the Replace button to save it (the
names used by the software are reserved.

User-created components are saved in the file, which can then be opened on
any workstation.

COMPONENT

The components are built from the top menu bar.

The buttons have the same role as in the software.

The buttons necessarily result in black surfaces during creation.

The buttons inevitably create white surfaces during creation

The button allows for the installation of points that will serve to connect the components in
the different technologies. A liaison point has no graphics associated, the cross
Red marks its exact location. A text is always associated with the connection point.
You can choose the font, alignment, and justification of this text on the right side of the screen.
The text cannot be deleted; it must be replaced with a space to hide it.
When several connection points must have the same position for the associated text,
it is simpler to copy them (moving with Ctrl) than to define them multiple times.

The button allows for the placement of the component reference. A single character that
will be the default name of the component when it is placed on the sheet. This marker
is mandatory, it must be replaced with a space to hide it. It is represented
surrounded by a blue line to differentiate it from other texts.

The buttons create horizontal and vertical symmetries of the elements of

selected drawings.

The buttons perform rotations of +90° and -90° of drawing elements

selected.

Press the button to display the alignment grid (see page Edit Views).

Press the button to activate the magnetic grid (see Grid Drawing page).
