Application for ring-fenced MRCP(UK) PACES places

This is a request in the next diet for PACES.

This form needs to be completed for each trainee requesting a ring-fenced PACES place in the next diet who are on a
JRCPTB partnered CMT equivalent programme.

It is very important that doctors are not put forward for PACES until they are genuinely thought to be ready to make a
first attempt.

For doctors requesting ring-fenced placements, it is essential that they have already passed both Part I and Part II
written at the time of the application.

Name Ramy Abdel Aziz

CMT programme Nasr city health insurance hospital
Year in the CMT programme 2021
MRCP number 909822
Date passed MRCP(UK) Part I Jan 2025
Date passed MRCP(UK) Part II written July 2025

I confirm that this doctor is considered by myself as Training Programme Director, and their current Educational
Supervisor, as being ready to take a first attempt at PACES. In coming to this conclusion, we have obtained the further
opinion of a current MRCP(UK) PACES examiner.

No trainee will be offered more than two ring-fenced places although they will still be able to undertake further
applications should they be needed through the general ballot.
