foreign languages or soft skills such as community skills and teamwork skills,
mainly because these days these skills are essential.

[Link] kind of problems do you have when taking pic?

When taking a picture, I don't know what is the best angle of view, so the photo
is not good. What's more, my hands are shaky when I take a photo, so people or
things in the picture are not very clear.

visit friends and relatives, or travel with my family. Also, this festival marks
the end of a year and the beginning of a new one. We all have some hopes and
faith for a better future in the new year.
4/ Do you think festivals are important?
In my opinion, festivals are of great importance in any culture. Not only
express respects to country’s ancestors and heroes but festivals are also held to
entertain the community.

..1/...i enjoy dining out to eating home cooked food because i can try many

use email as their communicating channel so I figure there must be billions of
emails sent each day within Vietnam’s digital mail network.
3/ Honestly, I think its universality will gradually decrease over the course of
time. I think people are focus on speed and instance more, which leads to the
rise of other quicker and more convenient media such as social networking
apps or messaging platforms designed for workplace communication like
fb,zalo and telegram

4/I think it has caught on for about 5-10 years. Almost every business or

must be billions of emails sent each day within Vietnam’s digital mail
network.

4. When did you have your first mobile phone ?
Talking about the past
I remember vividly that ,
If my memory serves me right ,
If I'm not mistaken , When ? What model + brand ? Who ? Feeling ?

If I'm not mistaken , when I was seven years old, I had an LG keypad
phone. My brother gave me this for my birthday. I jumped for joy.
Well, today I’m gonna talk about my mother. This year, my
mother will turn sixty one years old. My mother was used to
being a teacher in primary school and had been
teaching for about 30 years before she retired for 6 years ago
In terms of appearance, she has medium height, short curly
hair, and is a little bit chubby with a good-looking face.
Speaking of her personality, my mother is was caring and kind-
hearted, so my mother was loved and trusted by others.
The thing that I like most about my mom’s face is her smile. My
mother had a very bright smile, which
made her face very happy and youthful. I love so much
her because she give birth to me, raised me, and took care of me
from meals to slumbers.
Despite our age gap, we get along with each other well. I can
open up to my mother and share my problems, so she will give
me some precious advice to help me solve = deal with them. She
is a good mother who always takes care of the family, and I love
her so much that I can’t imagine my life without her

The person whom I would like to stalk about today is Uyên, one
of my friends whose company I really enjoy. She is currently a
sophomore majoring economics at University of Food Industry.
We’re the same age, which means that she’s also 19 years old.
In terms of appearance, she has medium height, short curly hair,
and is a little bit chubby with a good-looking face.
Speaking of how long I have known this person, we’ve been
classmates since high school. She sat next to me for over four
years. For me, she is a study partner, and a good friend.
Now, we don’t usually meet each other because I and her are
busy in our work. Therefore, we still keep in touch with each
other through on facebook. I hope we keep this friendship.
The coffee shop that I would like to share with you is MY Cafe.
It's located on TMT Street, and it’s quite near my house. It's just
about a 5-minute drive. Why do I know this place?
This was one of my favorite cafes when I was in a
secondary school. My friends and I come here to study or play b
oard games.

This cafe has only one floor, but it’s quite roomy and cozy. It is
surrounded by a lot of greenery and glass-to-ceiling windows, so
there is a lot of natural light.

Speaking of its menu, this place offers a variety of drinks, from

coffee, soda to smoothies. My favorite drink is Cookie Ice
Blended, which is a perfect combination of sweet and salty
from whipping cream. But one
thing I don't like is that it doesn't have snacks or cakes. I think
the price is quite reasonable as drinks cost from 28 to 45
thousand VND.

There are a few reasons why I like going to my local café. I

suppose the main reasons are the coffee, and the friendly staff.
If you need a space to sit at work or to meet friends, I recommen
d that you come here. It won't disappoint you.

Well, today I’m gonna talk about my smartphone, which is one

of the most important item in my life.

If i’m not mistaken it was 3 years that I got this phone from my
parents as a reward for my effort in study. My phone is a
Realme.

At first sight, I was’n very impressed by this phone, But it kind

of grew on me. The main color was green, which made the
phone elegant. It’s costed my parents 5 million VND, which is
quite reasonable.

I use my phone mainly for both in study and entertainment on

daily basis. I can study English on it by using the online
dictionary to check the meanings of English words or when
there are lessons that I don’t understand in class, I can use it to
search for lectures and videos online, which is really helpful.
Beside that, I can watch movie on free website, play games and
listen to music. As a result, after tiring lessons, this will be a
good way to unwind and get back my energy.
What I like most about my phone is that the camera can product
high quality photos.
Moving on to talking about my feelings, when my parents gave
me this phone I was very delighted and really appriciate their for
such a usuful gift.

It was the first time I was visiting a foreign country. My sister

gave me a jacket as a gift. I was planning to go to purchase one
for me before departure. But a surprise with it. She knew that
the country was very sunny at that time and I just needed one.
So she got one with the help of my mother based on my likings.
The jacket was so beautiful as it is red and black in colour. She
took a picture of my trying it and sent it to our family zalo
group. Everyone liked the jacket and gave a positive response as
it made me [Link] got excited when she saw my delight.
Now I wish I could buy her something in return, but she is
currently in the United States with her [Link], when I go
there to study and work, I will be able buy her something from
my first paycheck.

Today I’d like to tell you about my high school uniform that I
have to wear from Monday to Friday. This uniform consists of a
white T-shirt, a dark blue pants and blue tie. The logo of my
school is printed on the left of sleeve. It looks plain but pretty
nice and goes well with my skin tone. I usually mix and
match my uniform with a pair of blue sneakers, which sets
off my height and fair [Link] I wear it I feel
comfy because the fabric is breathable. At first, I didn’t really
like the uniform because it didn’t look like my cup of tea. But
when I figured out how to look good in it, I gradually loved it. I
feel it is now part of my student life

Well the first item that came to mind when I saw this topic was
the stuffed animal name Marsupilami. If I’m not mistaken this
toy was a gift from my parents for my birthday. The toy was
identical to the character in the cartoon I had watched.
Marsupilami was a black-spotted yellow monkey with dog-like
ear and long tail. As a kid, this was a fascinating and exciting
toy for me. At that time, I love it so much to the point where I
didn’t allow anyone to touch it. Moving on to talking about my
feelings, when I receive it I was over the moon. Even when I
grew up, whenever I saw this toy in the street or stories, my
memories came flooding back.

Well, back in 2017 when I was on a backpacking trip with my

family to Indonesia in the summer I had a chance to visit th
famous volcanic located in the East of Java island. It’s
an incredible place with amazing natural scenes with
many active volcanoes.
At that moment, I was sitting on the grass for a break and
waiting for dawn. After about 30 min of waiting, the sun woke
up. The sky was flushed with orange and pink patches and
mountains are sinking in the morning dew. As I saw that, I
quickly grabbed my smartphone and captured that scene. At
least, I managed to fix the colors with the applications in my
phone but I only did a little bit so that the photo would
become lively.
Looking at the photo today, it reminds me of the first time I saw
one of the world’s nature marvels. Honestly, I enjoy the photo
as it was a unique experience for me.

When it comes to Vietnamese foods, the first food that crosses

most people’s mind is Pho. Pho has a lot of variation/ve ri ei
sanf/ ranging from pho bo vien, pho tai va pho sot vang. It a
specialty of HN, the capital of Vn. However, nowadays it
available everywhere in VN from the north to the south. The
heart and soul of this dish is the broth, it requires beef bones to
be boiled with spices such as ginger, lemonglas and onion for
many hour on end. A bow of Pho consists of noodles, the broth
and it topped with some slices of beef. The dish is often served
with herb and bean sproud on the side. To elevate /é lơ veit/the
flavor, I usually add some lime, hot chilli and picked garlic.
Moving onto talking about flavor, I feel it well-balanced and
suit their taste buds. My go-to place is the pho joint located in
the vicinity / vờ ci ni đi/ of my house mainly because they
usually top it with a generous amount of beef and the price is
resonable.

I am going to talk about Facebook, which is a popular social

networking website I use it on a daily basis. I get benefits from
the website in many ways. Firstly,Facebook is really important
to me as it allows me to keep in touch with my friends.
Although I can not meet my buddies regularly, I am still able to
update their conditions by images, comments posted on their
status and chat with them. Secondly I find it easy to do the
shopping online on Facebook. There are thousands of
advertisements on Facebook every day so that I can order food
or buy necessary items online with a click of my mouse such as
books, shoes and clothes. Finally I can browsing the
website, I come to know about the latest happenings in the
world. Actually, this has become a great esentrial space where
people share their significant events to let others know
However, sometimes I realize that I have spent too much time
on it and should focus more on face-to-face relationships in my
real life.

I am going to talk about one advertisement is still fresh in my

mind is that about Comfort, a brand of fabric softener made by a
company called Unilever. If I’m not mistaken, it was a couple of
years ago when I was a child, while I have a lunch or dinner
with my family, it was aired on TV. I was attracted by this ad
because its meaningful message and the visual effect was eye-
catching. Whereas other commercials at the time tended to be
short and focused on humor to attract customers, Unilever paid
attention to the content and built a story around Lily, a caring
housewife, and Andy, a famous rock star. Despite his fame and
success, Andy never forgets his family, because deep down he
always feels his partner’s love just from the smell of Comfort’s
long-lasting freshness. The company even created a series of
ads, instead of just one, to convey a message better. I think this
was a costly but effective plan, as Comfort soon became a
household name after this promotion.

The book which I would like to share with you today is HP. It is
not a single book, rather, a series of seven novels.
If I’m not mistaken, the first time I read this book was about 8
years ago, when I was still a student at secondary school. While
I was browsing around in the bookstore, this book caught my
eyes right away because of it’s title and [Link] books
are written by the world-famous British author J. K. Rowling.
The book series is primarily about the lives of a young boy,
Harry Potter. The story evolves as he grow up and Harry
struggles against a dark wizard, Lord Voldemort, who intends to
become immortal, overthrow the wizard governing body and
non-magical [Link] is my favourite book because it has
taken me to an amazing world and helped me connect to the
characters to a level that has influenced me to think positively in
life

I believe everyone has watched at least one Disney movie in

their life, and today I am going to talk about one of my favorite
movie named – Frozen.
The story is set in the Kingdom of Arendelle. Elder sister Elsa
has the magical power to turn anything into ice and snow, but
when Elsa accidentally hurts her little sister – Anna – with her
magic, their parents decide to lock Elsa away and close down
the castle, which protect the younger Anna. During the
coronation day, Anna falls for visiting Prince Hans who
immediately proposes, but when they ask Elsa for her blessing,
she was raise against and Elsa freezes her kingdom by accident.
As a result, Anna has to go to the north mountain to return her
sister back. On her way, she meets Kristoff, his reindeer pet
Sven and a lovely snowman Olaf.
The main reason why I love this movie is because it is a
heartwarming film with positive messages. It teaches you that
true love is stronger than fear and loneliness, and that running
away is no solution to your problems.

Well, today I’m gonna talk about my memorable

trip to Pattaya, Thailand. If I’m not mistaken this
happened about 3 years ago. My parents took me to
trip as a reward for my effort in study. It was a trip
of a life time. After arriving at Bangkok in the
afternoon, I went from Bangkok to Pattaya by
railway train. On my journey, I was able to take
some beautiful photos of stunning scenery. When I
arrived at the hotel, I went to have dinner at a local
Thai restaurant including Thai soup, stir-fried rice
noodles, and sticky rice [Link] a full
stomach, I went to Walking Street. This used to be
a bustling because there are activities for me to
enjoy at night such as going to the clubs, going
shopping, and eating street [Link] next day, I
went to swim in the sea and participate in water
activities such as scuba diving to see coral, and
canoeing. In the end I went to Bangkok for 2 days
and visited a variety of places including China
town, Grand place and shopping mall. Moving on
to talking about my feeling, the memory about that
day is still fresh in my mind simply because I could
enjoy he hectic pace of life and nightlight there.
Thailand is a beautiful city with delicious food and
stunning scenery. I also post lots of pictures that I
took there on Facebook and my friends really love
them. That’s all I wanna share about.

Well as I’m a student, I have a tight budget and just

the next week before last, myself and 2 my best
friends had a really wonderful day out that cost
next to nothing. It was a holiday weekend and we
really wanted to have a special day out and we
need to get away from our studies. We actually
planned to meet each other at the park and then we
decide on whre to go later, but my friends got there
pretty late so we ended up staying there. We got 3
takeout kumquat tea glasses and rice paper mix
from a small street vendor and talking about
random things that came up. I guess what makes
the day special was the fact that, despite having to
wait for my friends to showed up and then not
going any where like we planned to, we still had a
lot of more fun than I had expected.
