VELOCHI RACING CIRCUIT AUTOCROSS

RULES AND REGULATIONS


GENERAL

1.1 The Autocross Event is Controlled and managed by Velochi Racing Circuit in accordance with
general rules and regulations of Autocross Event and any subsequent Bulletins.

1.2.1 Velochi Circuit Reserves the right to issue additional Regulations.

1.3 Velochi Racing Circuit Bulletin will be the official medium of confirming changes to, or in addition to the
event regulations.

1.4 Unsportsmanlike Conduct any action that undermines the integrity or reputation of the sport, including
defamation or public criticism that negatively impacts the event or its organizers, is strictly prohibited.
This includes harmful statements or actions on social media, in public declarations, or during any other
form of communication. Such behavior may result in warnings, penalties, suspension, or even
disqualification.

REGISTRATIONS

2.1 To register and score points in the championship, each eligible competitor must complete the
registration form and return it to the officials accompanied by registration fee.

2.2 Entry fee will be as per entry form.

2.3 Competitors are reminded that by signing the entry form they undertake to abide by all regulations and
decisions if the organizer.

2.4 Entries will be accepted on a First come First serve basis up to the maximum number of drivers specified
by the Organizer for any / all events.

2.5 All participants who achieve podium position will be given preference in registration for the next event.

2.6 Payment should be made in cash or online transfer at the time of registration.

2.7 It is the responsibility of the competitors to ensure that the Organizer has received their completed
registration forms and the rules & regulations copy.
2.8 Registration fee will only be refunded to the candidates who are not accepted in the event or in the case
the event is not taking place.

2.9 For Autocross, the minimum number of entries in any class is 3 participants to form a category. If there are
less than 3 entries in any particular class, the class will be bumped Up as per the Bumping Order.

2.10 A set of vehicle identification numbers will be fixed on each participating car at the time of Tech Inspection.
These must be displayed on the two sides of all competing vehicles on the event day. The Organizers
may approve on any alternative method for marking competing vehicles.

2.11 The sponsor’s decals and the Organizers decals must be displayed on all cars.

2.12 A vehicle may be shared by two drivers or as authorized by the organizer.

2.13 Vehicle classification and eligibility is according to Organizers/Race Directors/Tech Expert rules.

2.14 Participation in any given round is subject to meeting all the conditions of participation, even though the
registration has been carried out in advance. E.g. a registered participant cannot compete if he / she arrives
at the venue after the close of Scrutineering.

2.15 Attending the drivers meeting is mandatory for all participating drivers, failing to do so will result in
Disqualification / penalty decided by the Race Director.

3. COURSE REGULATIONS

3.1 GENERAL

3.1.1 Autocross racing will be held on a specially laid out course at the designated Race Site.
3.1.2 The given autocross circuit will be laid out with rubber cones.

3.1.3 Restricted areas, the paddock, and spectator areas will be identified in the Driver’s meeting and / or marked
on the Course Map.

3.1.4 Participants must bring their vehicles to the designated PARC FERME for the Tech Inspection /
Scrutineering according to the given schedule or as announced in the Supplemental Bulletins.

3.1.5 After Tech Inspection, no car is allowed to leave the PARC FERME.

3.1.6 No vehicle can compete without Technical Inspection / Scrutineering.

3.1.7 Only participating driver(s) who are signaled for their runs may enter the track area. All competitors and
spectators must remain outside the track area and away from the staging area.

3.1.8 Participants entering the course area must fasten seat belts and helmet before approaching the start line.
Organizers highly recommend the use of racing shoes but as a minimum shoe covering the entire foot
must be worn by all participants.

3.1.9 The Race Director reserves the right to disqualify any driver and / or car from competition for violation
of Velochi Racing Circuit Autocross Rules or any other official instructions.

3.1.10 Any competitor causing damage to Velochi Racing Circuits property or equipment will be liable for the
cost of replacement or repair.

3.1.11 Passengers are allowed during competition onboard competing vehicles during official runs.
Passengers cannot be participating drivers in any other category.

3.1.12 Speed limit in the designated Paddock area is walking speed. Violations may be penalized by
exclusion from the event.

3.1.13 “TINTS” Front Screen tints are not allowed.

3.2 TIMING AND SCORING

3.2.1 Correct times will be available at the end of each run and will be announced and may also be posted on the
scoreboard, whenever available.

3.2.2 Timing officials are not to be disturbed at all during the event.

3.2.3 The cone penalty is two seconds each for autocross racing. The finish line is part of the course for scoring
and DNF purposes. Cone penalty is incurred when a cone is down or out of its marked box.

3.2.4 Pointer cone (laid down horizontally) does not count towards Cone penalties.

3.2.5 If inclement weather strikes during runs, the Race Director may re-run the class depending on time
considerations.

3.2.6 Ties shall be broken by next best times. All official results and awards announced by Velochi Racing Circuit
will be final.

3.2.7 All official results and awards announced by Velochi Circuit will be final.

3.2.8 In the event that a competition is halted due to weather or other uncontrollable circumstances, scoring will be
based on the completed runs of all participants. If some competitors have completed one run and others two,
only the first run for each driver will be considered for scoring purposes.

3.3 CONDUCT OF RUNS

3.3.1 Each driver may get up to 5 runs, if possible, on the designated course. This information will be
conveyed in the drivers meeting by the Officials.

3.3.2 All runs are official. Vehicles will be staged and run in numerical order within each class.
3.3.3 Drivers must stage properly on time otherwise a DNS (Did Not Start) would be awarded for that
particular run.

3.3.4 Any willful delay in the start of an official run will result in the run being awarded a DNS.
3.3.5 Participants are expected to help with event organization by following all official instructions and maintaining
a “safety-first” attitude.

3.3.6 Participants who do not attend the mandatory Drivers Meeting before start of the event will be added two
seconds for their first round.

3.3.7 Re-runs are only allowed in case of Timer Failure or obstruction on the course. Which will be determined by
the Race Director.

3.3.8 Competitors who consistently go off-course or drive in unsafe manner on the track or within the Event
Complex will be subject to disqualification. Failure to obey any official instructions by the Organizers’
officials during the event will result to disqualification from the event.

3.3.9 All participants must ensure that the paddock and the staging lane remain unobstructed and
orderly throughout the event.

4.0 POINTS SCORING

4.1 Velochi Racing Circuit Series Points System 2025

4.1.2 Fastest times of the event will be awarded 2 points each event for that achievement, each participant who has
completed 1 lap will be considered as a valid entry and will be awarded 1 point for participation

4.1.3 Each Category will have champions for Monza and Suzuka Series

4.2 In case, of Tie in the championship points for any top three positions, the consideration will be given to the
driver who has more podium positions through the season. If the podium positions are also tied then second-best
time of the final race of the season will be considered to determine the position.

5 AWARDS

5.1.1 The Basis for trophies distribution for Autocross will be as follows:

5.1.2 All class winners.

5.1.3 If Class has less than 5 entries 1st and 2nd will be awarded, If Class has less than 3 entries only 1st will be
awarded. If one entry the class will not be formed and vehicle bumped up in the next fastest category. e.g. D
Stock will bump to C Stock

5.1.4 The organizers may distribute the awards at their discretion, if through bona-fide unforeseen
circumstances the Competition is stopped before its scheduled completion.

6. SAFETY INSPECTION CHECKLIST


6.1 Tech Expert will oversee the technical inspections and assign categories to all vehicles. If any participant is
found to be altering their vehicle or engaging in any misconduct during the event, the Tech Expert reserves
the right to inspect the vehicle at any time throughout the event.

6.1.1 INTERIOR
6.1.2 All loose items, inside and outside the car must be removed.

6.1.3. Seat belts must be properly installed with attaching hardware secure and tight.

6.1.4 All foot pedals must be clear of any obstructions or entanglements.

6.2 WHEELS AND TIRES


6.2.1 Snap on hub caps or trim rings that might fly off with cornering loads must be removed. Wheels must
be safely affixed. All studs and nuts must be present and functional.

6.2.2 Wheels must not be reserved so that the lughole taper does not mate with the chamber of the lugs.
6.2.3 No cracks are permitted in cast or forged wheels. No missing, broken, or loose spokes are permitted in wire
wheels.

6.3 BRAKES
6.3.1 Brakes must have adequate pedal, sufficient fluid in the master cylinder and no apparent hydraulic
leaks under pressure and must operate on all four wheels.

6.4 SUSPENSION
6.4.1 Wheel bearings, shocks, steering and suspension shall be in good condition.

6.5 ENGINE COMPARTMENT


6.5.1 Throttle return action shall be safe and positive.

6.5.2 Belts and hoses must be in good condition.

6.5.3 No excessive fuel, oil, water, or brake fluid leaks should be observed when the engine is running.
6.5.4 On board starters must be present and functional.

6.5.5 All batteries shall be securely attached to the frame or chassis structure.

6.6 BODY WORK


6.6.1 Detachable trim pieces, fender skirts, or other accessories that may fly off during a run must be removed.
Tonneau covers shall be removed and sun roofs must Be closed.

6.6.2 Long flexible antennas must be removed or tied securely. All participating cars have to be reasonably
clean and well maintained.

6.6.3 Any car that is judged by the Race Director to be in an unsafe operating condition at any time during the
event shall be barred from further competition until the deficiency is corrected.

7.0.0 ENTRY FEE AND ACCOUNT DETAILS

7.1.1 The entry fee for participation is Rs 18,000/- (Monza Series)


The entry fee for Participation is Rs 20,000/- (Suzuka Series)

7.1.2 The entry fees for sponsored vehicles have been revised into three tiers:
Tier 1: 200,000 PKR

Tier 2: 100,000 PKR

Tier 3: 50,000 PKR

8.1.3 The use of “NITROUS OXIDE SYSTEM” is Prohibited in Autocross Events at Velochi

Racing Circuit.

8.1.4 Any mis-statement or concealment of details on car modifications resulting in improper classification will render
the participation liable to penalties ranging from disqualification and penalties at the discretion of the Organizer.

8.1.5 It is the responsibility of the participant to ensure his / her car has been classified correctly.

8.1.6 Post event eligibility scrutineering may be carried out at the discretion of the Organizer.

9.1.0 CLASSIFICATION

9.1.1 Category Handout will be given to Registered Drivers Before Tech.

9.1.2 For some category tires TW180 and below, TW60 and below will be classified separately.

9.1.3 Electric Vehicle Category has been established.

9.1.4 Race Director has the authority to make a decision in classification of a unique or unconventional vehicle. This
ensures the vehicle is placed in the correct category to maintain fairness and competitiveness in the event.

10.1.0 TIRES

10.1.1 All tires must be in suitable condition to be driven, Treadwear (TW180 and above) permitted for stock category.
