Introduction
The Library Management System is designed to digitalize and automate the traditional library
operations such as issuing books, returning books, maintaining records, and monitoring availability.
Objectives
- To maintain a structured record of books.
- To automate issuing and returning books.
- To generate reports on book availability.
- To reduce manual workload and errors.
Project Description
This system stores book details including Title, Author, ISBN, Category, and Status
(Issued/Available). It allows easy tracking of books issued to users and displays analytics.

- LibreOffice Writer
- LibreOffice Calc
- LibreOffice Base
- Python (for demonstration)
- Spreadsheets for data storage
System Workflow
1. User views the list of available books.
2. User places a request to issue a book.
3. Librarian updates the status to 'Issued'.
4. Upon return, status changes back to 'Available'.
