ABSTRACT
This report outlines my journey through the comprehensive web development training
program at Coding Blocks during the summer, where I immersed myself in both theoretical
concepts and hands-on practice. The course began with foundational web technologies—
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—and gradually introduced more advanced topics such as
RESTful API development and asynchronous programming. My proficiency with frontend
frameworks like React and backend tools like [Link] grew significantly through practical
exercises and projects.
One of the highlights of the training was the opportunity to work on a full-stack capstone
project, where I was able to implement everything, I had learned. This project required me
to design and develop a fully functional, responsive web application, which further honed
my skills in database management with MongoDB, and sharpened my understanding of
security and performance optimization.
This experience not only solidified my technical skills but also provided valuable insights
into the collaborative, iterative nature of real-world web development. The challenges I
encountered and overcame throughout the course have left me feeling more confident in
my abilities as a web developer, prepared to tackle future projects in both academic and
professional settings.
