🧩APPLICATION ACTIVITY: “Community Action in


Motion”

Objective:
To apply the concepts of community engagement, solidarity, and citizenship by creating a
concrete Community Action Plan based on a real or hypothetical local issue.

Instructions:
1. Identify a community problem or concern in your barangay, school, or neighborhood.
Examples:
o Improper waste disposal
o Lack of community awareness programs
o Need for livelihood training
o Youth involvement in social activities
2. Create a brief Community Action Plan using the format below. Your plan must apply
the core principles of community engagement:
o Human Rights
o Social Equity
o Gender Equality
o Participatory Development
3. Use any of the methodologies and approaches discussed in the module (e.g., Needs
Assessment, Community Profiling, Action Planning, Resource Mobilization, etc.).
