Interview Script
Interviewer: Good morning, Aroa. Thank you for coming today! How are you?

Candidate (Aroa): Good morning! I’m fine, thank you. I’m really happy to be here — I’ve been looking
forward to this interview.

Interviewer: That’s great to hear! So, could you please introduce yourself?

Candidate: Of course! Well, my name is Aroa, and I studied Marketing at university. I’ve always been
really interested in creativity and communication. During my studies, I worked on several projects related
to advertising and social media campaigns. Last year, I also did an internship in a small marketing agency
where I helped design posts, manage content, and analyze engagement. It was a great experience — I
learned a lot about teamwork and organization.

Interviewer: That sounds interesting. And why did you apply for this position?

Candidate: Well, I applied because I’ve always admired how L’Oréal connects with young people through
creativity and innovation. When I read the job description, I thought it matched my skills and interests
perfectly. Also, I’ve always wanted to work in an international company where I could keep learning and
growing.
Interviewer: I see. What did you do in your last internship exactly?

Candidate: So, last year I worked as a marketing intern in a local agency. I created Instagram posts,
helped organize small events, and analyzed results using Excel. I also learned how important
communication is in a team. Honestly, that experience made me realize how much I enjoy marketing.

Interviewer: That’s great. What would you say are your main strengths?

Candidate: Hmm, I’d say I’m very creative and organized. For example, in my last project at university, I
designed a campaign for a local shop, and my idea was chosen by the whole team. I think that showed my
creativity and my ability to collaborate with others.

Interviewer: Nice! And what about your weaknesses?

Candidate: To be honest, in the past I used to be quite nervous when I had to present my ideas in front of
others. But after some practice and experience, I became more confident. Now I actually enjoy speaking in
public and sharing my work.

Interviewer: I understand. Can you tell me about a challenge you faced and how you solved it?

Candidate: Sure! When I was doing my internship, one campaign didn’t get the expected engagement. I
suggested changing the design and the posting schedule, and after that, the results improved a lot. The
client was very happy, and I felt really proud because my idea worked.

Interviewer: That’s a good example! And finally, why should we hire you?

Candidate: I believe you should hire me because I’ve already developed strong communication and digital
skills through my studies and my internship. I’ve worked with different teams and I always bring new ideas.
I’m passionate, responsible, and really motivated to keep learning and contributing to your company.

Interviewer: Excellent. And where do you see yourself in five years?

Candidate: In five years, I hope I’ll be working as a Marketing Manager, leading creative projects and
helping brands grow internationally. I’ve always dreamed of building a long-term career in marketing —
hopefully with L’Oréal!

Interviewer: That’s wonderful, Aroa. Thank you so much for coming today.

Candidate: Thank you so much for your time! It was a pleasure to meet you and talk about this
opportunity.
