Questions
1. Tell me about yourself.

I am Piolo A. Pascual, I’m a STEM student who


enjoys solving problems and exploring how
things work. I’m particularly interested in
science and technology, especially in areas like
engineering and research. I’ve worked on
several STEM-related projects in school which
helped me develop analytical skills and
teamwork. I’m eager to apply what I’ve learned
to real-world situations.
2. Why did you choose the STEM
Strand?

I chose STEM because I enjoy subjects that


challenge me to think critically, especially Math
and Science. I also want to pursue a future
career in engineering or health sciences, and
STEM helps me prepare for that path.
3. What STEM-related project are
you most proud of

One project I’m proud of is our investigatory


project on water filtration using natural
materials. I helped design the system and
analyze the results. It taught me how to apply
scientific methods, troubleshoot errors, and work
well with a team.
4. How do you handle difficult
subjects like Calculus or Physics?

I break down the lessons into simpler parts and


practice consistently. When I don’t understand
something, I ask my teacher or classmates for
help. I treat difficult subjects as opportunities to
improve my problem-solving skills.
5. Can you describe a time when you
solved a problem using critical
thinking?

In a Physics activity, we struggled to get


accurate projectile measurements. I reviewed the
formula, checked our angles again, and realized
we were measuring from the wrong reference
point. After correcting the setup, the results
became consistent. It taught me the importance
of analyzing errors carefully.
6. What are your strengths?

My strengths include analytical thinking,


teamwork, and responsibility. I always try to
understand concepts deeply, and I’m not afraid
to ask questions or research. I also stay
organized, which helps me manage multiple
tasks.
7. What makes you a good fit for this
job/opportunity?

I’m a fast learner, detail-oriented, and open to


feedback. As a STEM student, I’m used to
solving problems, working with groups, and
handling challenging tasks. I’m confident I can
contribute positively and improve continuously.
8. What is your biggest challenge in
STEM, and how do you handle it?

My biggest challenge is dealing with very


complex formulas or long problem-solving steps.
To handle this, I practice regularly, watch
tutorials, and ask help from teachers or
classmates. I learned that consistency makes
difficult topics easier.
9. Do you have any question for us?
