The teacher led the lesson very effectively. There was enough time for each phase: explanation, physical
exercises and expression of feedback.

A high level of preparation and a strong understanding of the topic were demonstrated by the teacher. Accurate,
relevant, and well-organised content was tailored to the students’ level. After explanations teacher used ICQs to
make sure that everything related to the topic was clear to her students.
C. TEACHING METHODS/STYLE
Comments:
The teacher encouraged her students to think critically by prompting them to analyze every component of an
essay and how ideas go smoothly. Students were asked to work in pairs, in groups to discuss and brainstorm.
The questions asked by students were answered clearly, helping them be active in the learning process.
Different kinds of aids, such as audio, visual, were used throughout the lesson both to explain and to practice.
D. ASSESSMENT/FACILITATION OF LEARNING OUTCOMES
Comments:
Homewok was checked before activating students’ background knowledge, and the teacher marked student
progress by observation, asking questions, and peer review tasks. I saw positive, supportive environment
where ;earners could engage in various activities volunteerly.
E. SUMMARY
By observing her lesson, I learned many things that I can imlement in my lessons in the future. For example,
student task comprehension is one of the important things that should be checked by asking clear, simple
questions. Next thing I found useful is that using visual tools such as organizers and outlines is highly effective
in both teaching and learning.

to maintain effective learning. Audio-visual materials, such as film posters, theatre photos, were used
throughout the lesson to improve both teaching and learning process.
D. ASSESSMENT/FACILITATION OF LEARNING OUTCOMES
Comments:
Home assignments were checked. I think, class objectives were met, teaching target vocabulary in discussions
and activities. There was lively and positive learning atmosphere in the classroom where students felt
cmfortable to learn, and this, I believe, easily contributed to their full participation.
E. SUMMARY
I learned a lot of useful things during the lesson and I plan to include more genre-specific images and some
short clips in my vocabulary lessons to enhance both teachign and learning practices. One more thing I found
useful is to collaborate my students as much as possible to help them feel free among their peers and increase
the level of participation. The balance between controlled and free practice, additionally, was one of the features
I found beneficial for my future teaching practices.
