Man dominates in motor sports

Army Officer
Mayor Gustavo Adolfo Porras Polo
CEM Course 2021

The topic of motor sports seems to be of special and particular interest, so it does not
it would be wrong to hold a debate for those passionate about machines. In this topic,
we will learn about the types of motor sports, categories, classifications and how they are
they are managed and used in these disciplines where man has the expertise to dominate them
machine.

We can understand motor sports in a very general way under a

social and cultural perspective, as a science of sport where we frame some type
of physical activity. (López, J. R., 2000). We could affirm that the origin of this type of
sports dates back to antiquity, since man began his activities
competitive with mechanical articles such as the production of carriages and some type of
vehicles towed or driven by some type of animal. (López, J. R., 2000)

Through machines today such as motorsport,

disciplines within the range of Motorsport-Motorcycling-Boating-Aeronautics,
the pilot becomes the main actor within the domain of the motor element for
to be able to achieve the competitive end; through man with the mastery of the machine
establishes competitive demand, this starts with its training, education, years of
experience in the motor field in which I performed. (De los Rayos, E. J. G., Benedicto, L.
V., & Díaz, J. D, 2017)

Motor racing is not 100% focused on Formula 1 or the famous Rally.

Dakar, there are many more disciplines and categories that we can name where the
the main actors are man vs machine, who can form a team and with
their abilities to reach the goal and be the best, an example of this is: World Cup
Rallyes (WRC), World Endurance Championship (WEC), World Touring Car Championship (WTCC)
Formula E, World Rallycross Championship (RX).

Estas competencias por lo general se desarrollan en circuito de carreras, son tramos

closed for this type of disciplines, several laps are completed in the shortest time
possible; this type of tracks is often used in speed motorsport,
speed motorcycling, drift, SuperMotard; within this last one, the use is combined
of pavement surfaces, concrete, cement.

A fundamental factor in motor sports are the famous racing teams, which are the
set of people and objects that make up a team formed by it

combination of vehicles and people; in all these categories there is competition

only for them, where the effectiveness of the engineers is highlighted with the tuning of
the machine, mechanical technical equipment to adjust and give it the effective touch.

Fundamental capabilities of the two wheels combined with excellent use of

clutch vs accelerator and brakes make the famous biker disciplines where we can
finding the balance of the pilot his sagacity, skills more demonstrative of these
disciplines we can find, MotoGP, with the category of the best riders of
world, constructors championship to be marked within the range of 4 motorcycles
cylinders in line.

The SuperBike World Championship with its category of 1000 CC. of 4 cylinders
where the best representatives of all brands are managed, for example: Ducati-Honda-
Kawasaki-Yamaha-Ktm, and the famous championship cannot be left behind.
SuperMotard, an overly exciting category, this level of competition handles a
broadly the mixture within what we can call a chassis structure of
motocross, combined with flexibility and the use of street tires or
track competition, something fun, exciting, and very competitive for the driver,
spectators and finally in the realm of motocross we find the Dakar rally with its
extreme stages and the motocross world championship itself.

Among the largest motorboat exposers, we find the motorboat rally, speed
offshore, drag boat races, similarly we have sports disciplines of the
combined aerial machines with the skill and expertise of the pilot, the greatest
exponents of the Red Bull aerobatics championship with single-engine aircraft and Red Bull Air Race
Word Championship, rotor wing acrobatics the flying Bulls with their best performer
the multirole light helicopter BO105 C.

We can conclude that motorsports is the perfect combination.

between the accuracy of a man as a pilot when operating a machine; to take it to the
extreme and exploit the greatest potential of the engine powered by gas combustion from the
one or several cylinders towards a connecting rod, which with the greatest force transfers it to the shaft
of main transfer and in turn to the wheels, engine blades, propellers of the vessel.
It makes one feel the power over controls and man's dominance over the machine.
