Topic: The chart below shows the results of a survey about people’s
coffee and tea buying and drinking habits in five Australian cities.
Details about the percentage of city citizens having habits of coffee and tea
purchasing and drinking are pictorially presented in the bar chart,
categorized into five distinct cities in Australia. The illustration refers to the
survey investigating the habit in the last 4 weeks.
By and large, it is evident that going to a cafe for coffee or tea was the most
widely favored habit by Australian city residents while the converse was true
for buying fresh coffee. Additionally, Adelaide residents had relatively equal
preference for both visiting a cafe and buying instant coffee with the
percentage of the latter being marginally higher than that of the former.
The proportions of city residents going to a brick-and-mortar coffee shop
were highest in Melbourne, Hobart, and Sydney, with a substantial figure of
more than 60%, higher than those of Brisbane and Adelaide by
approximately 10% and 20%, respectively. Meanwhile, buying instant coffee
was commonly preferred by people who were residing in Hobart, Brisbane,
and Adelaide with comparatively high values, ranging from 50% to 53%,
closely followed by Melbourne and Sydney people, at 48% and 45%,
respectively.
Regarding buying fresh coffee, this activity was the least prevalent buying
and drinking habit in comparison with the other categories, as just under
45% of people living in Sydney and Melbourne chose it, compared to 38%
people in Hobart. The lowest figures belonged to Brisbane and Adelaide
when there was a mere percentage of just under 35% residents who were in
favor of fresh coffee. (250 words)
