: We conducted this research because as midwifery students, we are usually
the first health professionals mothers interact with, which makes our role
important in providing correct information, guidance, and encouragement. By
focusing on this topic, we want to clearly understand how midwives help
promote exclusive breastfeeding, what challenges they face, and how their
efforts can be improved.

WHAT IS THE DEPENDENT VARIABLE AND INDEPENDENT VARIABLE IN

: Independent Variable – Roles of Midwives
Dependent Variable – Exclusive Breastfeeding Practices

control niyo or nama-manipulate while ang dependent variable naman ang

WHAT IS THE SCOPE OF YOUR STUDY?
: Our scope of the study are the mothers in Barangay Catanusan Minalabac
Camarines Sur.
(Madali lang po ito dahil nasa scope and delimitation na po ito. Para po mas
malinaw, iba yung delimitation sa limitation. Ang delimitation po, kayo as
researchers ang nagdesisyon kung hanggang saan o alin lang ang
respondents niyo while ang limitation naman ito po yung potential weakness
ng research ninyo.)
HOW DID YOU COME UP WITH YOUR STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM?
: We based our SOP’s from the situation and general factors of mothers with
their babies. We arranged our SOP’s by hierarchy of importance. The current
breastfeeding practices and challenges which affects how the mothers
breastfeed their babies. The benefits are next because once we look and
know the practices and challenges it can be determined easily the ways to
improve/ things not to do that leads to a benefit for every mothers and
babies. Lastly which is the most important is the roles of midwives. Hence,
our SOP is arranged in increasing order.
(From someone po na nagresearch nadin pero not as hard sainyo, based
from experience lang po saamin, SOP po ang pinaka importanteng bahagi ng
research kasi dito nakapaloob ang magiging questionnaire at data
information para sa chapters 4-5. Review niyo nalang po ang SOP niyo since
dito din po kami nagbase ng magiging input for chapter 4 and 5. Pag po kasi
namali dito, matik na mali na questionnaire and yung two remaining
chapters. Pero lahat naman po nang SOP ninyo is nasagot sa chapter 5
tignan niyo nalang din po doon.)
WHAT IS THE SIGNIFICANCE OF YOUR STUDY?
(Tignan niyo po yung part nang introduction sa chapter one yung pinakalast
nandoon yun nilagay ko po. Yung mga beneficiaries like mothers of course,
babies and etc.)
WHAT BACKGROUND RESEARCH DID YOU DO?
(Nasa chapter one na din po ito. Nasa pinaka unahang paragraph po. Tas
pagtapos niyo, sabihon niyo din po yung dalawang batas (REPUBLIC ACT) na
inilagay ko doon kasi yun yung magpapa solid sa research niyo na align sya
sa government law.)
