ORIENTATION PROGRAM :
Orientation program organized by our college
VISHWAKARMA GOVERNMENT ENGINEERING
COLLEGE,CHANDKHEDA on online
[Link] program organized on
23th June 2025.
INFORMATION ABOUT
DEPARTMENT/INSTITUTE :
•The initial phase was very useful to us
orientation program informed about collage
and collage faculty and introduced with
collage’s and department’s head of
department and other faculty.
•VGEC college is under GTU(GUJARAT
TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY).
• Knowing more about hostel and met out
senior students they give us introduction and
knowing about Gujrat technological University
this was our first day.
•College faculty was great and very helpful.
2)Regular phase
Module 1
A) UNIVERSAL HUMAN VALUES (UHV)
In UHV we learned we needs and process for
getting a good education. To develop a holistic
perspective about life and also to take the
challenges at college. To keep our mindset
positive.
•Universal values are values that a great
many human beings in the vast majority of
places and situations, at almost all times, do
in fact hold in common, whether consciously
and explicitly or as expressed in their
behaviour
•We learned a lot of things in the lectures of
universal Human values.
•In this lectures we learned how to
communicate with pepole and our society and
others. Physical Facility is necessary and
adequate for animals but for human being
physical facility is necessary but not
adequate.
Module 2
B) Physical Health and Related activities
The name of Surya namaskar is from Sanskrit
सर् ◌्यू means “sun” and नमस्कार means
“Greeting” it’s has many advantages of Surya
Namaskar it’s help in muscles and bring down
blood sugar . Surya namaskar has 12 asana
and the benefits of 12 asana are different so
do Surya namaskar daily.
PHYSICAL HEALTH :
•Healthy mind, healthy body two things to
gather are very important to regular life. If
doesn’t work without one of these three do
yoga and physical exercise and pranayam for
maintaining physical health. Yoga ,be physical
work, regular exercise like dance and play
outdoors games , healthy diet, no smoking, no
tobaccos, no alcohol should be done to
maintain physical health. If you happy you are
healthy .
They organize events for significant days like
Universal Brotherhood Day and National Youth
Day.
Sustainability is the practice of meeting our
current needs without compromising
the ability of future generations to meet their
own needs. It is not just about "going green"—
it is a holistic approach to keeping our society
and economy running long-term.
The Golden Rule: Use resources (water,
energy, materials) at a rate where they can
naturally replenish, rather than depleting
them.
The Goal: To create a system that is bearable,
equitable, and viable for the long term.
Module 3
C) Visit to a Local Area
In this visit , we learned
about the SSIP program
and we gained
knowledge
about funding by
government to students
start up . In this visit ,
the respected sir gave
briefly
introduction of the centre
.
In this we visited
different
laboratories and saw
different start ups by
students . Explained about
copyright of start up and
mentor for start up .
Module 4
D) Lecture By eminent people
1) [Link] Pujara - Power of positive
attitude
Session Overview:
Unlocking the
Growth Mindset
with Dr. Pujara In a
transformative
session filled with
insight and
inspiration, Dr. Pujara guided students on a
journey from a fixed mindset to a growth
mindset, blending the latest in neuroscience,
ancient Indian psychological wisdom, and
real-life engineering success stories. With a
dynamic and relatable approach, he
encouraged students to rewire their thinking
patterns and believe in their ability to grow,
adapt, and thrive regardless of past failures or
[Link] emphasized how small,
consistent habits, subtle shifts in attitude, and
honest reflections on failure can act as
powerful tools for personal and professional
evolution. The session resonated deeply with
students who often struggle with internal
fears, academic pressures, and unclear goals.
2) Brahma Kumaris - Awakening the
Engineer
Within
Session
Overview:In
an emotionally enriching and spiritually
uplifting
gathering, the C5 Central Expert Lecture
brought together the youth and timeless
wisdom. The theme focused on aligning
technical education with inner awareness -
highlighting how peace,purpose, and
positivity can fuel a successful and
meaningful engineering journey. Delivered by
the revered Brahma Kumaris speakers and
guided by respected faculty, the session
offered practical spiritual tools for:
• Managing emotional stress
• Developing self-motivation
• Building harmony in relationships
Module 5
E) Proficiency Module
Module Objective:
This module aimed to enhance students’
foundational skills in verbal
communication,especially in English an area
where many first-year learners face hesitation
or under confidence. It focused on building
the ability to express thoughts clearly, listen
actively, and engage meaningfully in both
academic and social environments.
Activity Conducted:Workshop on “Public
Speaking &
English Communication Skills”
The session was a blend of theory, interactive
practice, and confidence-building drills.
Trainers adopted a student-centric approach
to dissolve hesitation, reduce language
anxiety, and develop articulation, stage
comfort, and fluency
Module 6
F) Indian Knowledge System
Module Objective:Module 7 was designed to
help students reconnect with the intellectual,
cultural, and philosophical depth of India’s
ancient knowledge systems. The aim was not
only to introduce literary heritage and
historical frameworks but also to demonstrate
their relevance in modern society especially in
areas like law, mindset, ethics, and identity.
Activities were selected to inspire critical
thinking, cultural respect, and holistic
learning.
Discussion with Alumini
Expert Talk
Topic: "Bhagavad
Gita: Inner
Strength and
Clarity for the
Modern Student"
Dr. B. S. Munjal, a
respected
academician and
spiritual thinker,
delivered a deeply
inspiring session connecting the ancient
wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita with the
challenges faced by modern engineering
students. His talk didn't focus on religious
rituals but on timeless truths how students
can stay mentally strong, emotionally stable,
and moraly clear while navigating academic
pressure and life [Link] stories,
verses, and analogies, Dr. Munjal explained
how the teachings of the Gita are a guide to
inner elarity and outer excellence. He
emphasized that engineers of the future will
not only need technical brilliance but also
inner peace and wisdom.
Topic: "Engineering
Ethies: A
Foundation for
Responsible
Innovation" Dr. H. .
Trivedi's session
focused on one of the
most urgent and
overlooked aspects of
professional
engineering - ethics. His thought-provoking
presentation started with real-life examples
where a lack of cthical foresight led to major
engineering disasters, loss of public trust, and
irreversible environmental damage.
He argued that ethics are not add-ons but the
very foundation of every responsible
innovation.
Dr. Trivedi encouraged students to reflect on
every decision they make- not just ""Can we
do this?" but ""Should we do this9 He
discussed how engineers are not jiust coders
or designers they are the architects of
society's safety, progress, and Sustainability.
Akshar Vivek - Building Engineers with
Purpose and Peace
Session Overview:
The sixth lecture in the Central Expert Series
under
SIP 2025 took students beyond the limits of
academics — into the domain of inner
purpose, moral clarity and spiritual
[Link] in collaboration with the

Sanstha, the session welcomed Param Pujya
Aksharvatsal Swami, a revered spiritual leader
who inspired the students with his simplicity,
conviction and deep-rooted cultural
[Link] objective of the session was to
show that true engineering isn’t just building
machines
Module 7
G) Creative Practices
In this session , we do mathematical
discussions of fundamental concepts of
imaginary units . In this we find out the ideas
for logical reasoning and problem solving .
