A Short Learning Guide for the Course Participation
Below you find some recommendations how to use the course materials
which you will get:
My lessons which I will post weekly as files on our WhatsApp group have
two dimensions:
1) My own texting with which I present general introductions into the
topic of each Learning Unit.
2) A number of websites which enlarge my own texting and present
further examples which I recommend you. For that you should be
aware that the length of the stuff of these websites and also the
level of understanding varies! They can be easy and short but also
longer and need more time to understand. So my recommendation:
You should click initially at least once on each link shortly, go to the
website to which the link refers and then decide how much time
you can and want to invest in reading the contents of each website.
I know very well that you have other obligations (work / study /
family) beside our course, so you should decide freely by yourself.
Of course, the more you read the better your understanding will be.
In some cases I will give you also two further notes in regard to the links:
a) If a link has a yellow highlighted color, my recommendation is, you
should read that link carefully.
b) A note that this link can be processed on a voluntary basis but it is not
obligatory for the course. In those cases you are free to decide.

Other course aspects:
❏ At the end of each lesson there are some easy questions for self-
testing your understanding of each lesson. Working on them is on
voluntary basis since you might have other obligations to take
care of beside our course (university, family, work etc). You are
also free to send me your answers (but no obligation to do that).
❏ Throughout the whole course I ask you committedly that you can
contact me at every time with questions or problems with
understanding the learning stuff or other aspects of the general
topic of international conflicts and peacebuilding. I am quite happy
to come back to you and deal with whatever you might submit. So
you should not hesitate to contact me whenever and with whatever
you like either with post in our course group or via individual email
to bobluber@[Link]
❏ All my lessons texts are copyright protected so you are only
entitled to use them for your own personal use in our course
without any forwarding them to anybody else outside of the course.
Please observe this regulation.
